Dress code at Yachtsman?

How strict?

My daughter and I plan on dining there and then heading over to pm EMH at DHS. We'll certainly dress neatly - either a sundress or nice top and capris; but would prefer to wear a nice pair of flip-flop sandals (not the rubber pool type) since we will be heading to a park afterwards and want to be comfortable. Is this acceptable?

Good Morning!

We ate at the Yachtmans last year and the dress code stated no jeans, hats, tank tops, flip flops, etc. There is also a sign when you check in at the podium that stated the same thing.

However.... the waiting room (and restaurant) were full of people in jeans, tank tops, flip flops, etc. So..... I don't think they are as strict with the dress code as documented.

I think a capri dress/sandals would be fine!

By the way.... the food is great!!!!

You'll be fine as long as long as you don't look like you're headed to the pool.

I wore dressy capris and nice flip-flops there last October and they didn't bat an eye. If I remember correctly, DH also wore leather flip-flops with his khaki's, and they didn't seem to mind that either.
