I know the website says business casual, but how strict do they enforce it? All I brought were shorts and tank tops. My husband only has shorts and t-shirts. Will we be turned away? Thanks in advance!

I believe it is encouraged, but not required. I have seen some very, very casual clothing in there before.

If your still worried, just walk in and ask. If you are by chance turned away, take comfort in the fact that you're on vacation, and don't know anyone, and will never see them again. :thumbsup2

I've shown up in just a t-shirt and shorts. Tho I've also mainly gone during lunch.

i've done lunch in park attire there with others dressed the same way.
have never done the dinner hour there.

i can't remember how long back it was but there was a time that it was collared shirt for men.
short sleeve, sporty type of shirt but with a collar.

don't recall if it was just suggested or required.

have you checked their website to find out?

Yes. The website said business casual preferred. Just wasn't sure how strictly they enforced it.

I believe the only thing they really won't allow are men in tank tops.

We have done dinner in park attire. However, for most in our party that is a polo and shorts or I usually wear a casual dress. I have also gone there with the men in suits and the ladies in fancy dresses. You will really see a mix of both.

Top hat and monocle are a MUST. They don't care what else you have on.

The good Senator is VERY incorrect I'm afraid.

Despite wearing the finest of top hats and a gem encrusted monocle, the eatery seemed to be serious about other clothing as well and I don't expect I will be allowed back for some time.

They really should endeavor to be more clear.

i'm taking a stab at this and assume you educated them about their dress policy..

I would argue that this should be a national requirement, not just a restaurant requirement. ;)

If a restaurant asks for biz casual, then why not just make it easier on them and everyone you're dining around and dress appropriately.

Just because it's near a theme park, doesn't mean folks get to walk in somewhere looking like they just woke up. Orlando has tons of places to buy a preppy looking Polo shirt... It's not rocket science.

Trust me: You'll look better, you won't stick out like a sore thumb and, frankly, it's what Emeril's asked for in the first place.
