When making my ADR for CG the last thing the CM said was "we have business casual attire to make your time with us memorable". It didn't hit me until late that we would ahve to "dress" for this meal. I have never made it to CG but was thinking we would just hop the monrail there from MK. Is the dress code enforced?? Would we be out of place coming from the park in "park hopping" clothes?? Just want to be prepared.............

No, it is not enforced. It is a suggestion that they would like you to follow.

They are trying to eliminate tank tops on men and swimwear and cutoff shorts on everyone.

In CG you will see people in varying degrees of "dressed up." Some will have very nice clothes on, others will go in t-shirts and shorts.

I think it depends, too, on your reservation time. Earlier, the majority of people are in "park" clothes. Later, more people seem to have headed back to their hotels and cleaned up a bit before hitting the restaurant.

That said, no one was formally dressed and if I wore what the CG considers "business casual" to my business casual job, I know I'd be dragged into HR for a conversation.

I like how he worded this...basically saying "it's a nice restaurant...give it the full effect and dress nice"

which, IMO, i totally agree with.

but I ALSO agree with...the earlier you go...the more "park friendly" attire you'll see. later reservations seem to be more 'dressed'

Hmm, we dine there every trip and usually early. Most people are dressed up a bit although I agree there is the typical wide range of dress. Anyway, my guys always wear a collared shirt and nice walking shorts or khakis but that is the kind of thing you could wear to a park too. Most people dress up that much in our experience.

We are going directly from the park and plan on just wearing a nice plain solid colored T-shirt or golf shirt with kacky shorts and sneakers. I think we'll be fine for the restaurant and a full day at MK.
