Dress code at Calif. Grill?

They told us it is business casual but just what does that mean? By that I mean how much to they enforce it. Not that we are going to show up as bums but my wife wanted to know if nice dress shorts and a top would be OK??..smjj

I was told business casual as well, but once I asked they explained that basically just meant no cut off shorts or tank top style t-shirts. You should be fine with "dress" shorts and a nice shirt.

If not, I guess we'll look like bums together!

When I ate there the dress was from very very casual to very elegant. I m one for dressing up at a restaurant like this and when I say dressing up all I mean is a golfshirt and dockers. No need to wear a suit/jacket but I wouldnt go there wearing a AC/DC T-shirt either.

I just made my California Grill "ressie" the other day - the cast memeber told me just not to come in a tank top. I have dined here several times before...we usually just wear our neat and clean park attire....which is ususally capri's and a short sleeve shirt. Men would be fine in shorts (nice) and a collared polo type shirt. You will see a little bit of everything. Not to worry. We just never have time to go back to the hotel and change before anyway!
