Dreamworks Sold

I saw Dreamworks was sold yesterday to Paramount. Do you think Iger could woo Katzenberg back to Disney? He made some great movies during his last tenure. It'd be nice to have that "magic" back.

My dream of Dreamworks and Universal getting together was squashed. I doubt that Katzenberg will budge in any event. He has no reason to.

Just for clarity, the deal is for the live action portion of the studio. The animation unit was already spun off in an IPO.

I did read that the deal says that Paramount will distribute the animated films from Dreamworks.

Any idea what their distribution percentage will be ? May be the benchmark for any Pixar-Disney negotiation.
