Anyone ask for a quote from Dreams Unlimted? I did and never heard back from them. Was I supposed to get an email or should I have somehow gone into their website to view the price quote? I submitted all my information on the website (dates, names, ages, etc) but, as I say, I never heard from them. Just wondering if this is a reputable outfit. Experiences, anyone?
 
That's really strange. They are usually really quick. Within 24 hours, I had an email with a reservation number to enter on their website to view my quote. Are you sure your request went through? Did you receive an immediate email from them that they had received and were reviewing your quote request?? If not, I would try again. They are a good company whose quotes are very competitive.

Yes, I submitted info the first time and received the confirming "form letter" email. But never heard back from them. I'll try again but didn't want to waste my time if people have had bad experiences with DU. Thanks.
 
We have had a really good experience with DU (so far) Our cruise is in August and they have responded quickly and efficiently to all my e mails. I ould give them another try because they DO have a good reputation.

If I were you I would take the ressie # that you got when you asked for a quote. It might be there and your email to inform you of it may not have been sent. It's worth a shot!:D
 
This is the 4th complaint I've heard about their lack of responding since I made my resssie with them in Feb. I'm thinking about transferring my ressie to another TA.
 
I used them last fall and have nothing but positive things to say about DU!! Try it again- maybe it got lost in "cyber space"!
 
We just booked with them last week and never had a problem getting a response back. Try emailing Rob Lindsey, (rob@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com], he is the TA that gave us our quote and worked with us.

I don't know if you have AOL or not, but there has been a lot of problems with AOL delivering the confirmation emails from Dreams Unlimited--either they are going into a spam/bulk mail filter folder, or they are just not getting delivered at all.

If you want to check to see if a quote is waiting for you, go to the client page link on the Dreams website and enter your reservation number that you were assigned along with your password. You should be able to view the details there (and that would be a key indicator that you were sent a confirmation email that might not have gone through.)

Alternately you can send an email to reservations@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com or webmaster@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com.

Please let someone know if you still do not have a quote back.

Rjake, I also see you have hotmail - so be sure to check your spam filter, I know we have lots of trouble with our wdwinfo.com mails getting sucked into that thing all the time, so there's a good chance the same could be happening with the Dreams ones - just an idea :)
 
I thought of that, but then I figured if the filter was blocking their emails I would never have received the first "form letter" email confirming my quote request. Since I received the first email from them I assume any subsequent would come thru fine.
 
Well, it would be nice if spam folders worked like that but I found out the hard way they don't. Two weeks ago our ISP email got very sporadic. I never actually knew about a spam folder before. A friend's emails were not making sense & I found out that I wasn't getting all of them. After finding out how to get to my spam folder, I discovered lots of emails from her & others in there. I MS & had been getting some emails from those companies so didn' t think there was a problem. Well, I found lots of emails from the MS companies in there too. I would definantly check your spam folder on a regular basis.
 
Ive booked a few trips through DU and Ive gotten to know my agent well. Weve even met in WDW. :wave: However I recently put in for a quote for a cruise and never recieved an email back. I debated over sending her another email asking about it, but I was in no rush and didnt want to bother her more than I already do, LOL! One day I got an email saying that my deposit was due on the quote which I was sent. :eek: So, I dont know why, but I guess stuff does happen and emails do disapper sometimes. ;)
 
DU responded to my inquiry and indicated the first quote was returned to them as "undeliverable." They promised to send another. I'm confident it will come through fine.
