First of all I want to thank everyone on this board for all the wonderful information about DVC! I enjoy reading all the trip reports and wonderful stories about how great it is to be a DVC member.
After months of "bothering" my DH about my desire to own with DVC, he finally let me make an offer on a BWV contract. I am sooooo happy to say that today we found out we passed the dreaded ROFR
I really didn't think we would pass because the offer was below what the "going rate" seemed to be. Also, midway through the process, I read about the upcoming price increase and then I was even more convinced that this contract wouldn't be mine
I wanted to post about our offer and ask for as much pixie dust as possible but I didn't want to "jinx" anything so I kept quiet.
But now, I'm sooooooo excited and want to share the info so maybe I can help someone who is going through the same thing.
Contract is for BWV March UY 300 points all points available 2004.
We offered to pay closing, 2004 dues and transfer fee. Buyer was asking $65 per point and we offered $65 per point.
I am so happy that we tried for the impossible....I never thought we would pass...the only thing that comes to my mind is that dreams really do come true and that I can't wait to start the Magic for our family!
