I had no idea that you started this TR!!!! I have wayyy tooo busy gettin' ready for our trip...TOMORROW!!!!!

I am SOOOOO excited about staying at POFQ! It looks so wonderfully peaceful! The girls are both super psyched about trying out the pool!

I am very glad that you both had no problems (so far) with your feet! I hope I have the same luck!

I Love the pictures at the Umbrella! Too FUn! They definitely need to be framed and hung in a place of honor!

Looking forward to more, but probably not till I get back!

Wow! Too crazy that your hometown is Kittery. I live in Plymouth, MA but we have a vacation home/property in Central Maine. My husband always has to stop at the Trading Post on the way up. I don't mind the shopping either.

Wicked Whoopie was the company featured on Oprah. If I remember correctly the store in Kittery is one of the first shops on the right side of the street at the beginning of the shops after you get off the exit for the shopping (coming from the South). You have to walk down a few steps from the sidewalk to enter. I haven't been to the store since last August. My cousin was visiting and she actually bought 6 of them, froze them and then took them back with her to CA. It was love at first bite!

5th car at DHS! Awesome! Isn't getting to the parks early just the best?

I grew up right off of Route 1, so close that I could actually walk to the outlets when I worked there in High School.

I asked my mom about the Wicked Whoopie yesterday, she said they ship them all over the country. I might have to go check it out next time I'm up there.

I purposely plan out DHS arrivals for a few minutes after rope drop. I can't handle that!! We've been pretty successful doing it that way!!

It was so nice to met you guys!! It was too bad we couldn't spend more time together! Next time!! Ryan definitely enjoyed flirting! He loves the ladies DH, of course, was happy to talk hockey too!! If he can talk sports, no matter where or when he's happy!!

I LOVED the Saddle Up bag! It was the perfect park bag for me. I could fit in everything I needed, souvenirs and even a long sleeve tee that I brought into the parks!

It really is hard to lose weight. I've decided to print out some before surgery and post surgery pictures to keep in a small photo album in my purse. When I look at the difference it really keeps me motivated!

LL - Our Maine house is in Vienna. We take the first Augusta exit and go through Manchester. My DH was just up in Augusta this weekend smelt fishing. Yuck! But he came home pie-less, which is just as well since I am back on the no sugar/nothing white/only good carb eating (salads, green veggies).

I know how hard it is to lose weight. A long time ago I lost about 50 pounds. Now I use Disney as my motivation to stay healthy. I tell my DH we just always have to have a Disney vacation planned and I will stick to the working out/eating right. It seems to be working. I set myself another goal for our May trip. We'll see how that goes.

When I went to WDW last June, we stayed at POFQ. The fact that it's the smallest of the resorts and the atmosphere made me fall in love with it. I was sold when my mom and I were walking to our rooms at night, when it was all quiet with just the sound of the breeze and the fountain we walked by. It was awesome.

I never realized how crazy people get about TSM at the rope drop. I can only imagine how insane it'll be in June this year, right when Toy Story 3 comes out in theaters.
I'll make sure to report on that, because I'll be there in June. It'll be like a soldier going into battle.

I can't wait for the next update! I'm subbed and ready for more adventure-reading!

Just found your posts and signing on. I am staying at POFQ in October for 2 weeks, doing a solo trip and can't wait. Seeing your photos is getting me more excited. However, I am more curious on your weight loss surgery? I am banded and so far lost 60 pounds and can't believe the energy that I have!

I know of Vienna but I think I have only driven through. I used to live on the China/Palermo border on Route 3(I think) outside of Augusta.

Disney is good motivation for weight loss for sure! I know it helps me.

I had my surgery on August 26th. So far I have lost 52.6lbs. I go weigh in on Monday so I am hoping for a big loss since it's been a month since I've gone to the doctors.

I could not believe the amount of energy I had at Disney with just losing 50lbs. It really was an amazing feeling. I can't wait for my next trip because I know that I am just going to keep feeling better and better there. When was your surgery?
