Has anyone done this dinner at Cinderellas castle? Its not the character meal one. We have 2 boys and am curious if they would enjoy this meal? I know they wouldnt go for the character breakfast since is all princesses. How is the food? What makes it so special that it is 2 TS meals from the dining plan? Just because its in the castle?? Thanks!

Cinderella's Royal Table

This is 2 TS meal, largely because it is a meal in Cinderella Castle, which is an experience in itself if you've never visited upstairs. The food is good, and the CM service we've experienced in the castle is superb. All guests are royalty at Cinderella's court, as you are often addressed as such (e.g., "My Lord" or "My Lady") when you are visiting. However, even if you are on the Dining Plan (especially if you have a Tables in Wonderland discount), WDW experts say that it is best to pay for this meal out-of-pocket and enjoy two other individual TS meals instead.

At dinner, Cinderella is the only princess to welcome and greet you (she will pose for your package picture, free with your meal, and she signs autographs), but dinner guests can see the Fairy Godmother as well as the two girl mice, Suzy and Perla, who bounce and dance around the dining room. It is difficult to get reservations at Cinderella Castle in part because Cinderella's Royal Table has the SMALLEST dining room of any of the Disney restaurants. The Fairy Godmother will especially bring a tear to the eye of many a grown woman... She's a doll.

We have gone on nights when these characters did pose for a quick picture, but others on DIS have posted that they only saw the show.

SPOILER...

Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner: Every day, during the meal, Cast Members will pass out swords and star-topped wands as gifts to young-at-heart boys and girls. You may take these gifts home as a keepsake. For dinner, the Fairy Godmother and the mice do an approximately 10-minute show to remind us that our dreams can come true. I don't want to say too much, but I have shed a few tears during this part of the meal.

If you can secure a reservation and you have the funds, by all means, Disney fans should dine at Cinderella Castle at least once in a lifetime. I have enjoyed my visit to Cinderella Castle every time... for lunch as well as for dinner. We don't do character breakfasts, even if they are plated breakfast meals vs. buffet breakfasts, so lunch and dinner at CRT work for us.

I am also thinking of doing this meal with my son. He wants to eat in the Castle. He is not into the Princesses either but he really did enjoy his experience last summer at 1900 Park Fare. I was thinking of giving up one dinner credit and going to the new T-Rex.

Can we use Disney visa points on T-Rex?

Dh and I ate dinner there last year for our annivesary and to my surprise he actually enjoyed it! Just the mice and fairy godmother were in the dining room, Cinderella was in the lobby. As far as the food, we enjoyed our meals. I would suggest looking at the menu online. I remember I had the lamb chops and they were good. Have Fun!!

I don't think T Rex is on the DP.

T-Rex is a third-party operated restaurant, so I don't think they take the Disney Rewards points debit card for payment. Any Disney owned restaurants will. You can use the Visa itself and earn more rewards, though. :flower3:
