Dreaming of 2014

Because of money and because we want to wait until our daughter is 6, my husband and I aren't planning on going back to Disney World until October or December of 2014.

Is there anyone else who is looking that far into the future?

DH and I are going this May - and I am already thinking in the back of my head about how to get him to go again in 2014! 2012 will be too soon and in 2013 the Fantasyland Expansion should all be done, so 2014 sounds about right to me.........

Yep! I'll be there this June, but already know I'll be going again in 2014. I always say it's good to have something to look forward to!

We are hoping to go back in 2014 too, if the Fantasyland expansion is complete.

If all goes according to plan, I will be WORKING at WDW for at least a large part of 2014!

When I heard about the Fantasyland expansion and that it was supposed to be done in 2013 I immediately told DH we were going to start saving and go on my dream Christmas trip that year.

Just recently DD and I were watching the Disney episode of Best Places I've Ever Been and when I saw Melissa's girls all just having the best time at BBB I asked DD if she wanted to go there and decided we had to go now before it she was too old to really enjoy it and also I've always wanted to go to MNSSHP.

My first priority is that Christmas trip in 2013 though. DD actually said at first that we really shouldn't go this year because she's worried we won't be able to save enough for our Christmas trip which is planned to include a 3 day cruise. People at work laughed at me when I tried to ask off for 2013 last year.

Gosh I can't believe I thought I was the only one in this forum waiting that long for a planned trip.

I just made a thread about this and now I wish I'd have looked a little closer first, lol.

Anyway, I feel your pain. I'm not going till December of 2013. So one minute I'm really excited for the future and the next i'm really salty because it's well.. so far in the FUTURE. LOL.

Definitely anxious to get back to Disney. I even pout sometimes

no your not the only one!!! Me dd dc and dgs are going in june but i'm thinking that in 2013ish i want to go just dd me myself, however my parents want to go back in 2015 (it'll be 20 yrs since our 1st trip) So i think i'll try to hold out until 2015 because i dont want dd to expect to go to wdw every other year, while i'd love to i'm not sure i could afford it!
