Dream transcription...

So I am wondering if anyone can figure out what my dream means...or what book is good to read to try and make sense of it...

I have a recurring dream that I am on a elevator and I press the floor number but we either go straight through the roof or the floor...what is wrong with me?!?!?!

Couple of questions: Where is the elevator (hotel, department store, etc), do you know which floor number you push and if you do is it always the same, what is you emotion when this happens, are you alone and do you actually crash through the roof or floor?

A couple of months ago my life was very very busy so the dream fit then, but now my life is GREAT I have the job of my dreams, done with school, and not really out of control....

It is always a hotel, I am never alone in the elevator and the number that I push is not always the same...and yes I crash through the roof and floor...when it is the roof we end up either in the parking lot or a parking garage..we don't actually crash "through" the floor but more crash into it...

the dream has a tone of a rise and then a grounding.....possibly you are worried that things are going well and you are fearful that it will all come crashing down...
Dreams are the way your subconscious comes forward and talks to you....it will bring forward things that you push back....when a dream is reoccurring it means that you have not dealt with the problem/issue and it will keep reappearing until you do. Sometimes we get "negative" or jealous remarks made from others that we deal with in our subconsious as well...sometimes it is ourselves that can be negative....
OH...just read your post from 8:39PM....ok, makes more sense. The fact that you feel your life is great at this time can cause a bit of worry for some as in " I've made it, but can I keep it up".....it sounds like a bit of subconscious doubts that your situation cannot stay the way it is.....I think as time goes by and you see that everything stays on track for you this way the dream will go away. Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done and tell yourself that you worked hard and do deserve for your life to be GREAT!
