Dream Thanksgiving cruise Nov 23, 2015

I have not received any of my stuff yet from my TA. I am 15 days out until WDW. I called today to find out what is going on and they told me they received all my stuff yesterday. I am wondering if this is normal? I really try to be organized and am freaking out a bit. I already have gotten our magic bands. I guess I am having a hard time believing them. Is anyone using a TA and have you received your things?

We are using at TA and received our paperwork about 2 weeks ago.

Are u goiing on the cruise after, if u are I picked up my cruise ticket pkg's yesterday from my TA.

Yes we are cruising afterwards. I guess I am just getting nervous. This is the first time we have used a TA. Usually I just do everyth;ing my self.

Thanks Deanna DN is my Nephew, Nick, I shols have just labeled DS since his mom is going, LOL. Too excited having to get new bigger bags for me FE gifts but really glad my mom made the FE too big! Cant wait to meet everyone

I know I saw this topic somewhere but not sure if it was this thread. Do you usually bring gifts for the cast members that work in the kids clubs? We didn't last time but was thinking of doing it this time around. Thoughts? Also, how many would you bring and what type of gift???

Does anyone know about the 5k Fun run on Castaway Cay? I heard you sign up once you get on the ship but all posts I see on it just talk about the run Disney associated one. I heard that they do it on all sailings now. Is anyone else planning on going or know more about it?

I talked about buying bags of candy after Halloween to give to the cast members at the kids clubs. We will do that. You can't give them money and supposedly they really like candy. Others have mentioned getting international prepaid phone cards so they can call their family.

My family is going to do it. DH and I have done it before.
You can sign up at guest services or the shore excursion desk. My mom is going to walk it with my girls.

The best thing about it is you are the first ones off the ship in Castaway. You can get a prime beach spot after the 5k!

She has not posted a cabin number yet. Sometimes they don't assign the cabin until you check in at the port. If that is the case she can let us know at the meet and/or she can write it on my dry erase board on my cabin door. Then when people come by they can see it. If we get it at the meet I will put it on my dry erase board.

I have seen a post that said they took bags of candy and gave to the three favorite people that were in the kids club areas. It's a good idea....

Ohhhhhhh....my 10 year old son wil be soooooo excited about this! He loves to run! Me, not so much.
But, I did tell him that I would run with him when he did his next 5k. I haven't ran anywhere in my adult life except to the bathroom or to my children's aid so....here we go! Wish me luck. Oh, and somebody have a drink waiting for me at the finish line!

Great! You sound like me! My husband said he's gonna have to stay home because we aren't going to have room for him in the car after I load all of the FE gifts!!! I am still working on my hand painted adult gifts!! Hope everyone likes them! My first attempt and am having a blast!! A little over zealous I think but ...hey... you only live once so might as well enjoy it while you can right?!! See ya soon!!

The FE list 1 has that cabins DN as a girl or niece. If I don't get and answer and I've tried several ways the gift probably won't be right. But I tried. I have seen DGM and DGF for grandparent and is gender specific but DG just tells me grandparent but which sex. And DN can be niece or nephew. Oh well ..

Debbie, did you see the response I got on the DN (14)? It is a nephew!! Also the DG is a gramma! and the DS along with that one is a Dear Sister (not a son)!! Just FYI!!

Yes I did and she emailed me too- so sweet of her to do that but I would have had it wrong. Since getting the corrections I started putting together my FE gift bags and now my spare bedroom looks Etsy and Party City had a party that exploded all over the room. Now I don't know how I'll transport all theses bags .... I'll be the lady hauling around a white garbage bag protecting our goodies till rooms open up. If you see me say hi! BWAHAHAHAHAHA! You and me both!! Pirate costumes -- CHECK (even hubby who NEVER costumes)! Sitting at my dining room table covered in FE gifts while the paint dries! Now working on my stateroom door decorations! Y'all have turned me into a Disney Monster!! And to think...a few weeks ago I had no clue!!! Oh what FUN! Can't wait to meet you and everyone else!!
