Hi all, super excited to be going on our second Disney thanksgiving cruise! This time bringing DG, DS& DN for their first cruise. I'm hooked on making magic and can't wait to show my little family reunion what Disney means to us.

Want to participate in FE! 5520 Petersen/Nichols (DM:40ish DH:45 DD:7). 5522 LaBare/Petersen(DG:67 DS:45 DN:14)

First time doing the FE but this is right up my ally of fun things to do, I can't wait.

New at the FE exchange and want to make sure gift is appropriate. Could you clarify for me sex of DG, DN and I assume DS is son.

Does anyone know if the sky lanterns are okay to bring? I wanted to set them off one night with my family.

I would call Disney- they are wonderful to watch float up. We do it as a family during 4th of July at the beach but we have to make sure wind direction is right so no mishaps. Ours is in Memory of the ones that aren't with us on earth anymore. Your kids will love it and it's entertainment for others to watch. Hope it works out!

We set them off all the time. For our kids birthdays party's, we hand each guest one and they them decorate it with crayons with birthday wishes and happys for the birthday child. Send them up on Christmas night, New Year's Eve, Easter or any time we have visiters staying with us we don't get to see often. We always decorate them though. Just wish it wouldn't take the dang things so long to light! Lol...

I too need to know gender of DG so I can make sure he/she gets the appropriate FE gift! And yes I have gone crazy and am giving gender specific adult gifts! I couldn't help myself. I need an FE intervention!!

I guess some identifier would be good since I doubt we will have the enchanted garden to ourselves right?! Isnt that where we are meeting at 5?

The FE list 1 has that cabins DN as a girl or niece. If I don't get and answer and I've tried several ways the gift probably won't be right. But I tried. I have seen DGM and DGF for grandparent and is gender specific but DG just tells me grandparent but which sex. And DN can be niece or nephew. Oh well ..

I have not received any of my stuff yet from my TA. I am 15 days out until WDW. I called today to find out what is going on and they told me they received all my stuff yesterday. I am wondering if this is normal? I really try to be organized and am freaking out a bit. I already have gotten our magic bands. I guess I am having a hard time believing them. Is anyone using a TA and have you received your things?

I'm not hearing anyone rejecting the idea of wearing leis so let's go with that.

Wear your leis (green if you can get them) to the meet at 5pm the day we board the ship in front of the Enchanted Garden. I imagine that there won't be too many people there other than our group until we get closer to first seating dinner time.
