I'm thinking of having us participate in the FE thing, but haven't been on a Disney cruise before. How do groups get matched up? How many gifts do you give? Do you make the fish?

Will the other cabin have a FE as well or will they be sharing with you. I am trying to figure out if they should be listed as a separate cabin handing out their own gifts or are they part of yours? Thanks

Read through this thread, somewhere I posted some links that explain everything about the FE. Some people give one gift per cabin and others give one gift per person. It is a personal choice.

We will be dividing the main list up into two smaller lists on tues. Some people want to give gifts to all of the cabins participating and will be on both lists. Some people only want to be on one list. Once the list is divided up it will be posted here and you can see which one you are on. Hope this helps.

I think that most of your questions were answered but just in case I will answer them


1. Yes, there will be a final list after the cutoff date of Oct 12
2. There will be two FE groups and you can join one or you can join both. Each of the small lists will have approximately 14 cabins to give gifts too but if you do both lists there will be approximately 24 cabins to give gifts too. I think that we should try to break the lists up by floors somewhat.

3. I'm putting your families down for both lists. Let me know if you want to change.

Yes, I have a spreadsheet of the list Babyburrito has in the first post. I also have it broken down by ages in case that makes it easier for some. Getting so close!!!

Once you get the groups divided my son and DIL may only want to do one group as it appears there are now 33 on the list and may be a bit much for them with 3 little ones! I want to remain on both lists!! Is that a problem?

I believe that you wanted to be on both lists which means that you will be delivering gifts to every cabin that signs up for the FE. They don't have to be delivered all at once, you can break it up into x number of cabins each day.

Now that's it's 33 I know we can't do it physically so please if it's not to much trouble and you do split please do us in one group. Could have managed 20-24 but physically can't do 33. Still really appreciate you all for doing this and please know I'm not trying to make it difficult by changing my mind. I just want to enjoy it and not be flat out the next day LOL.

I am a bit concerned too since I don't really know what to expect and still don't know the difference between a cabin gift and individual gifts and whether you are supposed to do one or the other or both?!!
