Dream Team @ DOWNTOWN DISNEY...where????

So we can keep a look out next time we are at DTD, WHERE SPECIFICALLY have you seen the Dream Team giving out lanyards, ears?? Probably not too many different locations that they show up at compared to the parks.

I know where a Dream Team member once awarded a prize - not because I was there, but because we got into a conversation a few months ago.

It's pointless to say where, though - because it's predetermined by computer, and it won't be the same prize or the same location each time. This was awarded to a Guest being the first one to walk past a certain store at a certain time.

I think there's a report here somewhere of a girl winning a $500 shopping spree at World of Disney because she was the first person to sit on a certain bench at/after the time chosen by the computer.

I dont think they would ever be at a resort or DTD......because you dont have to buy tickets to go to those places.

They have given stuff away at DTD (ears, castle stay, lanyards). Just curious if their are some common places where ears/pins have been given out. The Dream Team can't hide too much at DTD.

Lat year Easter Week a big prize was given away at DTD (i beleive it was the Wed after Easter). Somone just sat on the right bench at the right time!

Like others mentioned, there have been prizes given away at DTD. Also, it has been posted elsewhere on the DISboards too. I have yet to hear about "big' prizes being given away at the resorts. Anyone? I've heard small prizes like room upgrades and limo rides to the airport.

The official YOAMD prizes as listed in the official YOAMD prize list are ONLY awarded at the four theme parks,the two WDW water parks and DTD.The other "prizes" are part of "the unprecedented number of Magical Moments being given out during the YOAMD" and can be awarded anywhere.

A man who sat on the "right" bench in DTD at Disneyland won one of the DVC prizes last year. I plan to have someone in our family sit on every bench we see while we are in WDW, just in case

When my DD turned 2 and was potty training.... she insisted on going in and "using the potty" everytime she saw one.

We swore at the time that we saw every single ladies room in MK, Epcot and AK at least once during our trip!!
