Dream Squad question

Where does the Dream Squad, usually go in the morning to hand out the dream fastpasses?

They don't "usually" go anywhere. It is completely random. However, I have observed a trend of them hanging out at the exits of many rides.

I agree about the ride exits. I also think they might lurk by the cast member exits for stealth purposes. I was there 10 days and observed people with no lanyards suddenly walk by with them, but never saw the dreamsquad giving them out. I saw and spoke with the dreamsquad in the afternoons though. You can trade pins with them and they are very nice. They are particulary helpful if you have any questions - I think they are management from a comment one of them made.

Having asked several people who had the dream fastpasses, it seemed like they were giving them in the exit areas of the rides that offer the fastpass, like BTM.

The dream squad is given a location and time when dream fastpasses are handed out. In Dec, the squad was handing out df at the turnstiles after you entered the park. It all depends on where they are told to go and when to go. Good luck!

The dream squad members are cast members from all over the park. They apply and are selected for the squad. After being selected, the cast members are transferred to the squad for specific period of time. I can't remember the time frame. After their time is up, they go back to their regular positions. The two squad members which we spent some time with at Christmas were not management members. One member worked at WofD and another was an attraction attendant.

My DD and DH got dream fastpasses near the exit to the Hungry Bear restaurant. They were just walking past to go to the bathroom. DH came back and said 'I got this, what is it?'. We headed back there to see if I could get one for our other DD and myself, but they were all gone. This was probably around 11am.

We've been lucky enough to win a couple times. Twice we won ears back behind Dumbo, both were mornings about 9 AM. We won lanyards getting off Alice maybe 8:30ish. Both made us think we should hang around FL early, lol! Then the next trip we won lanyards in the afternoon in DCA going back through the arch thing to Monsters Inc (both Dream members were standing back against the arches, so still kinda out of the way). Then we won Dream Fastpasses down in Hungry Bear, so they were still out of the way. My bf saw all these people walking up from the exit messing with the lanyards, so we raced down! Woohoo!

Here's an interesting fact. We spoke to one dream member (not handing out prizes) and he asked us what was different about what he was wearing in comparison with what the members were wearing when we won. We didn't know. He told us it was the white vests. So if you see white vests, run for it!!

If you see a Dream Squad member can you approach them and ask to be Dreamed or do you have to wait for them to pick you? Also, do they only pick one or two people/groups at each spot or do they stay there and give out all their dreams until they are gone? Just trying to maximize my chances when we go !

I don't think I'd ask to be dreamed but I might walk up and say Hi and hope for the best!

Keep your eyes open for people who have just been dreamed - they'll be fussing with their lanyards, or ears. Once you spot one, Congratulate them, then ask where they got their dream. Last week, we were existing Splash and I saw a couple with new ears. They told me the Dream Team was down by the restrooms below Hungry Bear. We went toward the restrooms and there were two Dream Team members there just handing the ears to people as they passed by to go to the restroom. They said 'Congratulations - you've been dreamed!" and handed us the ears. The other dreams I saw were at ride exits, which won't do you any good because you can't just walk up...you have to be exiting the ride. We also received ears when we exited the Monorail at DTD one afternoon...that one felt 'more special' - so I guess it's better to try not to 'force' a dream.

We were exiting the Winnie the Pooh ride last Thursday and received a free 5x7 photopass pic from the Dream Squad. They had on long navy blue pants, a long sleeve light blue shirt and a white vest.

My family got df entering "tough to be a bug" last Friday. The really awesome thing was that I was outside with my 17 month old twins. (I thought that they'd get scared). My DH told the Dream CM that I was outside with the little kids. They told us to take the entire party to Guest Relations and explain what happened. We did and a Dream CM came by about 10 min. later with df for those of us outside the attraction.

It was our last day in CA and it was a wonderful end to such a fun trip.

i came off the tram once from M&F and they were handing out lanyards to those guest.

We were given Dream Fastpasses at the exit to Splash Mountain this Thursday morning around 9:30 am. By standing in the exit "alley" no-one could see the CM's except the people leaving the ride. We were thrilled!
