Dream Satellite Falls question

A recent vlog after Dream dry dock showed this large white platform adjacent to Satellite Falls that I know is not currently on the Fantasy (see my last pic from Fantasy below). Was this always on the Dream but never included on the Fantasy as “an improvement” with the second ship in the class? Or was it added to the Dream in the last Dry Dock?

Hoping it doesn’t get added to Fantasy in dry dock because the concierge expansion already reduces the area near SF so much. It looks like a storage area and really takes up a lot of space near the covered loungers.

I don't know the answer, but we noticed it on the Dream in December as well. We definitely were trying to figure out if it was there before and we just didn't remember it...it seems like something we would have noticed because we didn't like it. We've sailed on the Fantasy more and knew it isn't there, because you can walk up to Satellite Falls from all around. I agree, though, if this was something added, I hope they don't add it on the Fantasy.

I agree - I asked on my FB cruise page too and nobody commented to confirm it was always there or a new dry dock item. But I do think I saw a pre-dry dock video that showed this white platform in it, and that leads me to believe at least that it was eliminated when they made the fantasy and would not be added to the fantasy.

Satellite falls was not part of the original build on the dream like it was on the fantasy. This is likely for pool/pump equipment which is more “built in” to the fantasy, since the dream was a dry dock retrofit.

Thank you! That makes sense to me! I have only been on the Fantasy twice so not as DCL-cruise literate as most folks here.

We also weren’t fans of that box on the dream. We just assumed it was part of the pool.
