I remember before the Dream was delivered Disney made a statement that folks in connecting rooms who are booked side by side could share the veranda. I inferred that the partition was mobile.

Can anyone who has sailed confirm this? I have looked at many photos from the MV, but not found any evidence. TIA!

i have heard the same...we defintely would like to know sincw we have three verandahs in a row.

I wouldn't call them "mobile", but I've seen a number of pics that show open doors between verandahs, much like doors between connecting rooms.

From the photos I have seen of the separated verandas, it looked like part of the partition could fold back. If anyone has seen a photo of the above mentioned, I would be grateful for a link. :magnify:

Would love to know this, too. We have connecting rooms for our June 2012 trip. And if they are removable, I'm assuming your would have to ask someone to remove the partition???

We noticed that the two rooms next to us had their verandah's open to each other and took a picture.

I was told (could be wrong) that the partitions are locked and can only be moved (fold or slide) by the stateroom steward upon request when boarded.

ljm23's picture is exactly correct. There were two staterooms next to ours that did this. The room steward folds the door back and locks it into place.

I was on the christening and we didn't have connecting staterooms but our verandah connected. On one of the preview cruises we had connecting staterooms but our verandah did not connect. Both of these staterooms were on deck 10.

We have connecting rooms on Deck 7-Deluxe Family...hope this isn't the case with ours!!

I would call and ask, at least that way if your current rooms are not connectable they can look and see if they can get you some that are.

Anyone know if the very aft verandah partitions can be opened? Looking specifically at deck 10.

yogibigdog...what was your room number on the Dream on deck 10? I am looking for good locations on deck 10. Did you have pool noise above you (scooting chairs), or noise from Cabanas? Need to book 3 rooms for family and want deck 10.
Thank you for any help.
