Dream or Fantasy dry dock?

Does anyone know when Dream or Fantasy will dry dock next and any details on plans to possibly overhaul the concierge lounge and concierge sun deck so that it might have an ocean view?

Doubt anything will be done with the Fantasy until the Treasure is sailing. The Dream might do a dry dock once it's in Europe. If there's any holes in the schedule that would probably be an indicator.

Most ships spent some time in drydock last in 2020 while being positioned in Europe during the shutdown and the Wonder got a little more work done while in Progresso just prior to cruising resuming. The Magic is next and frankly in a slightly worse shape than any of the other ships. As suggested by @happycamper47 any future schedule released with a gap in it would be indicative of some sort of drydock for either of these ships - but right now, no such gap appears in the schedule currently available... so I'd say that this is doubtful that we'd see anything before Fall 2024. One thing I could see being done, when it happens, is a rebrand of Enchanted Garden as a dinner/theatre princess themed venue (like Tiana (Wonder), Rapunzel (Magic) and to an extent Arendelle (Wish)).

Given that that would require taking over a large portion of the adult-only area - Satellite Falls and the deck surrounding it - on the ships I doubt it will happen. There is no other place to put outdoor adult areas on them.

I don’t see how they would retrofit a concierge lounge with an ocean view on the Dream or Fantasy.

I think magic will go before fantasy or dream.
But also disney is tying a lot of money up in new builds rn

If they really wanted to, I'm sure they could find a way. They actually could take over satellite falls and the rest of the forward deck, leaving the sides for the regular adult deck. Or they could take one side of the adult deck, leaving the forward deck and other side as they are.

There's already enough of an us vs. them attitude with Concierge, I don't think DCL would want to deal with the backlash.

All they have to do is look at what has happened with Celebrity and the Edge Class where there is no forward facing area available to anyone other than Suites. HUGE backlash over that. So far they've left at least the forward facing lounges alone on the "revolutionized" ships, but taking away open deck space has not gone over well.

I preferred the classic ships when there was no concierge, but Disney chose to follow that trend and is now able to charge way more than they used to. As it is, I would expect they're hearing a lot of backlash from concierge for not having a sea view. Either way, I don't think they will hurt for bookings, either concierge or standard.

There is so much underutilized space on the sides of deck 13 forward. They could easily expand the concierge deck sideways while leaving satellite falls intact.

There is a month long gap (that I can find) between the September 1 2024 sailing of the Dream, and the October Dream transatlantic cruise. Would that be a time for dry dock, refurb?

No way they get rid of Satellite falls. That was something Disney added after the Dream because of the lack of adult pool areas on the Dream.

I didn't say "get rid" of Satellite Falls. I said they could incorporate it into the concierge area. And I'm not condoning this. I was just suggesting how they COULD retrofit the Dream with a proper concierge space with ocean view... if they wanted to.
