Yeah, we are still sitting at 177 each way, and are happy with that, because thats actually much much cheaper than I had planned, and at a decent flight time.....

HI HENLADY , KRIS, are you and Don still going to be at Florida's Seafood Bar & Grill at around 5 or 6 pm on the 21st?
We moved our landing into Orlando up by 3 hrs. looks like we will make it to the restaurant by 6pm after all...........those hush-puppies are a waiting.

I tryed to move the rental pick-up 3 hrs.................those blank-T-blank people want over 200 more. I am wanting to rent till Sat JUNE 4 th.

I'll work something out, I got a bunch of AARP discount codes i haven't used yet. I think the rates come down after EASTER anyway.Will see.

Good morning everyone......a nice sunny morning here in central PA that is going to drastically change later.

Don: Yes, we are definately going to the Fl Seafood Bar & Grill, probably somewhere around 6/6:30 I would imagine. Don cannot wait either. He is sooooo ready for this trip. Glad you were able to get an earlier arrival on the 21st. We'll probably be in Cocoa Beach (and hopefully checked in at CI&S) by around noon.

Those rental car places are rediculous. There is no reason to add $200 for a rental that you pick up a few hours earlier. DD used to work for a well known rental car co, I'll check with her to find the reasoning for something like that.

AND, Don and I have early seating and late show.

We used to make that drive to Fl. Only did the 18 hr drive straight thru once and that was that. After that we split the drive over 2 days. Now, Don says "never again" to driving, it's just too stressful for him, for me, I don't mind the drive. We do occasionally fly, but generally go by the AutoTrain - much more relaxing.

Our DS, by himself drove from NW Indiana to Orlando in 15 hrs............he had to be averaging better than 74 miles each-and ever hour of driving time.

It was -11 (ambient) when I started my truck to take the kidlet to school, it is currently VERY SUNNY and -6 (ambient) Im done. Im moving out of Montana......... I need sunshine and HEAT HEAT HEAT!

That sounds great 15 hours. The kids were happy when I said not twenty-four or twenty, but fifteen hour drive.

The reviews are mixed on the MV of the Dream. I wonder what that means?

I think that the cruise will be what you make of it. The best stuff always has lines. That is how you know what is good.

Yep! Seriously, I can't believe some of the things people are complaining about. The lounge chairs by the pool are in the shade?! Then go up to the Sun Deck, Einstein! The aft elevators come out in Cabanas. And that is ruining your vacation WHY?!

Honestly, it's all about your attitude. If you are looking for things to complain about, chance are you'll find some. If you have a good outlook, chances are you'll have a good time. I'm going to be on a DISNEY CRUISE, so I'm going to have a BLAST!!

Sadly you have to pay for snacks, or bring them from other locales onboard or bring them in your carry on

melmathis: As MTmomma stated you do have to pay for "pre-packaged" snacks/candy. But you can always just stop at the drink station for a beverage, and during the times that the on deck sandwich places are open there are bags of chips available. If you know you're going to the movie, stop by the condiments cart and pick up a couple of bags of chips. Or maybe have some of those delicious cookies delivered by room service before you go and take them along. I have seen people in the movie theatre with anything from chicken tenders to pizza and ice cream.

Its starting to really tick me off that "non-smokers" have more "right" to use something such as an OPEN AIR BEACH than a smoker who has paid the exact same amount of money. It really ticks me off.
