Ive seen a few threads mentioned seeing a "Dream Maker".

How do you know its a "Dream Maker"? Are they dressed different?

I thought the Dream Makers were Cast Member's - and they all did it randomly?

Inform me! :confused3 :teeth:

check out the yomd board.. lots of info there..

Thats where I read about the "Dream makers" - but cant figure out how people would know this. :confused3

Don't quote me on this, but I believe I had read somewhere that the Dream Makers are in blue vests and they are the ones giving away the larger, listed prizes. I've also read that people are already starting to follow them around. I feel bad for the CMs, it's not like they can just pick someone out of the crowd and I'm sure they have had to put up with their fair share of upset guests. :confused3 :guilty:

I didnt know they were 'in costume'.

I kinda feel bad for them, too. I wonder if they should have dressed them much more non-chalant?

It must look like a parade, when one walks around the park. :rotfl:

The ones I have seen in the parks giving away "smaller" dreams I suppose were not dressed in any particular "uniform". I saw two at AK yesteday, one was in normal AK garb the other in a Dinosaur jumpsuit. They usually seem to have a bag of some sort with them - I've seen several with a black messenger bag with the castle logo. I guess it holds the "dreams".

At MK on the 1st day of the 'celebreation' the folks that I saw with the black bags had on khakis and light blue shirts.

The two that I saw in AK yesterday were very quiet about what they do - they didn't make a big deal. Don't know what the first family was getting - it was near the entrance. The second family (of three) were at Primevil Whirl - I know after she took their name, etc and gave them a certificate she took them through a gate as if to take them to the front of the line. Not sure if it was a fastpass of some sort - it was late in the afternoon - so all day for AK so would not have done them much good1

Those are regular Cast Members giving out "Magical Moments" not the Year of a Million Dream "Dream Squad". All areas have little things that they are doing, like first family to ride, giving out random ride re-adds (which is a generic fastpass). The "Dream Squad" are the only CM's that can issue the prizes that are listed for the sweepstakes. They are in the Khakis and blue that you mentioned, but when giving out prizes they have a vest too. If you see someone in any different costume they are not issuing sweepstakes prizes, they are doing the magical moments.

I think it would have been better if they were dressed like the regular CMs too. That way it would really be surprise if you were given a "big dream". And they wouldn't get followed all the time.

And I love your parade comment. Now instead of asking when the 3:00 parade starts, people can start asking when the Dream Maker parade starts. :teeth: :rolleyes1
