We are going in September and are staying at the POR for 8 days, we have the dreammaker package - but we are beginning to wonder if that is the best way to go. We are going to SeaWorld one of the days and we wondered if Park Hopper Passes are a better way to go...

We do want to go to the water parks and all of the theme parks. But there will be the one day we are totally gone to Seaworld and will waste a day's worth of passes with the Dreammaker...

We still want the flexibility of hopping between parks.....has anyone else been through this and have a good solution... :scratchin

Should we just suck it up and pay for the Dreammaker package or should we get the park hopper passes! :confused3

Help! :teeth:

Honestly I would get the park hopper passes. This year and last year I planned on a room only ressie and 5 day PHP passes. The day of arrival we probably won't go anywhere and the day of departure we won't go anywhere, so that's two days wasted on the UPH. So we go 5 days to the parks and one day to the water park.

The only reason I got the dream maker package is last year they had the 7/4 deal and this year 7/5. If there wasn't a discount for those (AP wouldn't work for us) then we'd do the room only and 5 day PHP.

I would also go with the park hopper passes. The UPH are good if you are able to utilize them if you get to WDW early on the first day and leave late the last day . . .otherwise, you'll be wasting the first and last day on unused passes that you paid for.

We usually go with a park hopper pass when we don't purchase an annual pass.

IMHO I would suggest dropping the dream maker package, buy the park hoppers, then if a room code comes out you can apply it to your ressie. I think you'll save money that way in the long run.

check out the price of APs, I am pretty sure around 8 days is the break even point, it might work out about the same to get Aps, and then you can come back next year :)

The UPH are good for the water parks as well, correct?

thank you all for your opinions..it pretty much verifies what my DH and I were thinking too.

thanks!! :cat:
