I am fairly new to the DIS boards...I read lots, but never have time to leave a message.
I love the YOMD! And am very excited it is going to continue! We are a lucky family...I used to say "I never win anything", but the last year has been good to us!
Nov 2006 my DH and DS5 were on Mission Space at Epcot and my DS4 and I were playing in the "video game" area! Well he and I won a Dream FastPass (I did not even know what they were)...the Dream Team gave DFP to my DH and DS5 when they were done with the ride. It was great because we really wanted to do Test Track and Soarin' again...even though the lines were not that bad!
We went for 10 days in August 2007 and at MGM we won FastPasses - not once but twice in the same day! We were on Star Tours and I saw the Dream Team and was very excited that we got the last 4 seats on the ride that they were handing passes out for. We got off and immediately used the FP for Star Tours and guess what we were in the right place at the right time and got them again. We were laughing so hard - the boys thought it was great.
Since I am the only one of us to do roller coasters and Tower of Terror - I rode both 4 times with the FP. I ended up giving the other 4 FP to a nice family from England...it made their day because the crowds were really bothering them! I figured Pay It Forward!
We are getting ready to go again in November and am hoping this time we will be on to the DVC prize or the Castle Night, but I really want the trip around the World!
