Happy to hear this, we're in 12504. It was the only concierge room left when we booked and I couldn't find too many reviews on it other than it adjoins the Roy disney suite.

Don't forget that it also has 2 televisions, including a large one in front of the bed.
 
I got cabana #2!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!

I know just how you feel! We got #5 and I am thrilled! We are almost at double digits for our trip (106 days to the cruise, but we are in WDW for several days before). Lots to do before we go, but I am still reading like mad, to keep the excitement level up.
 
Is it correct that we do not purchase the cabana when it is secured?
If I send a request to the concierge, I do not send my credit card information? I pay onboard?
What is the cancelation policy? Thank you.

Yes correct, pay on the cruise to stateroom account.

You do not need to send any credit card information to DCL Shoreside concierge, you pay when on the ship.

Cancelation is 3 days prior to sailing.

Now to decide what order of cabanas I would like to request in SB. I want to be able to see the water from the lounger. Close to food I guess but also away from crowd but I want to see water from loungers which is a priority.
 
You may or may not hear from them FYI. I had my requests drafted in an email and sent it at 11pm CST (midnight EST) to them at 125 days.

How can I know the exact date of my 125 days to send an e-mail to concierge? I want to send at 12:00 am/12:01 am on my opening day.

I am staying in 12018 with my mom, while we leave everyone else home LOL
 
Well, I read this thread a few weeks ago out of nothing more than curosity. Then last night something clicked in my head (probably reading other people's trip reports all weekend while I've been sick) and I decided to check concierge pricing on my upcoming (first) cruise in September on the Dream.

One of the fabled bump-out rooms was available ... Deck 12, starboard, near the concierge lounge. I think you can guess the rest of the story. :)

They will take requests for dining rotation preference before 125. I did that at like 160 or so but i called the main DCL number in an attempt to get the shoreside concierge info and a nice representative told me what rotations i could choose from and had no problem putting that on my reservation. I also purchased a spa pass at that time.

Hi! I'm not Cashe but I emailed them at the email listed a few posts up. Just a quick email, asking about the procedure for requests. They got right back to me with the exact dates for me to send in my requests. :-)

Hi! I'm not Cashe but yes, you can buy Rainforest Passes before your cruise. If you log into your account there is a section to purchase gifts. You can order it there :-)

Shoreside concierge will send you an email around 130-135 days out letting you know. I believe May 12th should be 125 days out.

We loved 12504. If the bump out isn't available, that would be my next choice. It has a fancy door, and it is decorated like the royals. The location is super quiet.

I'm on the opposite side, almost directly in front of the concierge lounge. Would you stay where you are or move to 12504?

Are you able to get in the lounge from both sides of the ship?

What is the only difference? Two tvs? That wouldn't be a concern for me.

yes you can get to the lounge from both sides.

i just called the main number for passes. had to pay right then. i only got passes for one day.

trip is right around the corner. i'm praying for good weather!
 
I have to say that shoreside concierge is on the ball this time. Have received email about advance requests for each of our back to back cruises. We did not receive any advance contact for last September's cruise.
