What a bummer that you didn't get Mickey waffles this time!!

Funny that you mentioned your omelet tasted like oil, I can't remember which review I was reading, but someone else said the same thing. She said she stood at the counter watching him make it and he sprayed it with cooking oil like every 30 seconds! Lol.

I know the review your talking about because I remember reading that too! When the chef asked what I wanted in the omelet, I remembered that review and asked if he could go "light" on the cooking spray or oil. Not sure if he did or not but if he did, i'd hate to see what "regular on the cooking oil" tasted like

We loved it too! I can't lie, Tusker House was my absolute favorite but I loved CP too!

Crystal Palace is one of our must-must-dos for each visit. I just can't stop the giggles when I see Pooh and his friends. Eeyore is one of my DM's childhood favourites (she never really grew up!) so hugs are a must. The breakfast goodies are good, too! How can we go past the mini-Mickey waffles?! As for the omelettes, i suppose it depends on the chef. Last June, my DM said that her mushroom omelette was excellent. However, in December, her omelette was covered in the non-stick spray oil. I wouldn't know, I stayed with the fruit and Mickey waffles and the sausages and the bacon and... !

Crystal Palace is one of our favorites! We actually have a 9:10 ADR which is the only time I could get (still checking) but are we allowed to get in early (say 5 to 10 minutes) to make it in time. They say you should be early. Or was there I sign specifically that said it had to be before 9 in order to get in. I have a post about it but didn't really get any responses. TIA

Now that mention it (and I didn't even think about this before now) I didn't get a birthday card at CP! I received one at Cape May and Be Our Guest but nothing at CP or Tusker House.

From what i've read, you can't get in early for a 9:10 ADR. I believe they do allow everyone in at 8:55 instead of right at 9, but you won't be able to get in before then for a 9:10 ADR.

I think I just put on ten pounds reading about all that crystal palace food. Everything looks delicious. It is definitely amazing how thorough the chefs are with allergies

I didn't even think to check for those! I thought they only had them at Boma so I skipped the Mara!

Instead of "cake" the base is a chocolate coin. My kids like the gluten free version better than the original!
