DH has just booked this for our next trip in May (after we've purchased our APs).

As I've read so many bad reports about the buses that run to and from the hotels does anyone know if you can walk to the Parks from this hotel or is it worth just taking the car as we'll be driving over to DLP?

If you drive to the parks you will be able to park for free after you have purchased your ap's

Elaine (Ware Bears) walks from Hotel Explorer so it is definitely possible

If you have dream APs you can park at hotels (except DLH) otherwise you will have to park at main carpark which has quite a walk to the park anyhow I understand.

We stayed at Explorers last Easter for few days without APs and used the buses we then stayed at Holiday Inn in summer with dream APs so took the car and parked at New York. No need to say which we preferred

We often walk ~ it takes about 25 minutes and is a pleasant walk ~ but if our car was there I'd take that!

If you buy Dream APs you'll be able to park at the Hotel New York as well as benefit from EMH.

Thanks for all the replies - looks like we'll take the car as I don't think DD and DS will want a long walk especially after a full day in the parks.
