Dream CAME true! June 21-26, 2011 TR w/LOTS of pics! Update 8/1 Day 6, Part 4

Looks like i've reached bandwidth on my pictures :sad1::headache:

And I DON'T want to update unless I have pictures to show, so i'm going to wait for a little while to update my TR until you're able to see my pictures.

Until then, if you guys have any questions regarding the ship, excursions,/activities,dining, etc please feel free to ask away! Not sure how long we're going to be waiting here, but we could at least pass the time by having a Q & A session! :rotfl:

Can you open a new account on photobucket using another email address??
I have tons of pics on my TR using photobucket. Hoping mine doesn't max out!!

I have two accounts that I switch back and forth to because this happened on my Dining Report that I had done last year :headache:

I have used both accounts for this TR, and I just got an email from PB saying i've almost reached bandwidth on my other account! SO FRUSTRATING!

:lmao: Hopefully you weren't at the DMV too long! What time did you end up leaving tulare?

They called up our number literally when I finished the PM I sent to you. As I was getting up off the floor (no chairs left) I was hitting "Submit Reply". So just after 12 noon.

That's the NEXT place I want to parasail at! I would love to do it there! I bet you would get some amazing views up there! Do you know how much it is to do it there?

We went to the boating place on our last trip and I looked at everything, the prices weren't bad (you ARE at WDW!) :rotfl2: I just noted that it wasn't out the realm of possibility pricewise.

LOL! Now I'll learn to make souffles, so I can save some for you the next time you're in town! :goodvibes

I REALLY wanted to do that cooking class, but I think it was during the ESPN sports thing, and I know DH didn't want to go in there by himself, so I was unable to go. And nope, it was free and you didn't need to sign up in advance for it! I checked the Nav, and it tells you if you need to sign up for certain activities in advance and this wasn't one of those :thumbsup2

You've got to eat them right out of the oven...I'll bring the dessert wine! :thumbsup2

LURKERS! COME OUT AND SAY HI! None of us here bite....at least I don't ;)

I really wanted to get this done before I left! Oh well...I should do a little mini TR about my trip

Speak for yourself! :rotfl2:

Yes, we want a mini TR!

I opened a second PB account on my last TR because I got that same message too. :headache: Perhaps your pictures are too large...

This is a bummer because I was going to show my friend your Dining Review on our big Internet TV today to help her think of place we want to dine on our trip next May.

Thanks for the info on the Hyatt at MCO! :thumbsup2 We have decided to stay there when we arrive in Sept. We don't land till 10:30PM and I booked our rental car before we booked our flights. When the schedule finally opened up to book our flights, we decided to fly down the night before - but to change the rental car to add 11 hours - DOUBLES the rate of our rental!!! :scared1::scared1: We were going to stay at POP for 1 night before checking into BLT. But I got a great rate for the Hyatt and it includes breakfast!

Hi, I'm one of the lurkers! I'm enjoying your trip report very much. We are going on our first cruise next year, a double-dip in June.

I may try to make the zuchini brownies! Those sound super good and I can pretend with all the zuchini that they are healthy. :thumbsup2

I have heard that brunch fills up early too. But I am hopeful. We are early bookers so we might nab ressies!

Did you eat breakfast or lunch in any of the rotational restaurants? Did you order room service? :surfweb: Just figured I would ask.

Thank you so much for the zucchini brownie recipe! I'd like to try and make them before the cruise in...23 days!!! :thumbsup2

I have also read that butternut squash is a great addition to baked goods, without noticing that there is a veggie in there!

I kept DS6's first baby tooth that he lost Memorial Day Weekend. It was funny actually...my sister had gotten him this beautiful silver set when he was born. It has a big teddy bear, and two little containers with different labels, all made of real silver. One is "My First Curl" so I put some hair in it after his first haircut (don't laugh...OK laugh, I still do! :rotfl2: ). The other one is "My First Tooth". When he lost his first tooth and he woke up the following morning with money under his pillow from the "Tooth Fairy," he asked me if we will ever get his tooth back so we can put it into the little container. So, I made up this whole thing...I wrote a letter to the tooth fairy (and had to show it to him since he reads and I can't get anything past him anymore!), asking if we could please have Philip's tooth back this one time, so that we could put it into the special container and save it. I put it under my pillow (showed him this too of course!), and the following morning, I was up before him and quickly put his tooth under my pillow (I had thrown the letter out the night before...in the OUTSIDE trash can! :thumbsup2 ). When he got up, I told him that we should check under my pillow to see if the tooth fairy brought back his tooth. He ran into my room and checked and was so happy to find it there! :goodvibes It was very cute! :)

As far as cleaning, I get very lazy with it most of the time. I will admit that. I do the laundry and clean my kitchen and bathroom religiously, as well as the boys' rooms, but other things get neglected, like papers and clutter. I seem to have a problem throwing things out for some reason! DH helps out a lot around here too, especially carrying laundry up and down the stairs (washer and dryer are in the basement), and vacuuming since I have not been able to vacuum since before my surgery when I was first injured. But...I do need to have the house spotless and immaculate before I leave for vacation, even if it is a short weekend trip. There's something very relaxing about coming home from vacation to a beautiful clean home!

Enjoy your New England trip! It is beautiful up there! In 2003, BC (Before Children :lmao:), we took a week-long road trip through the New England states. Our first stop was Stowe, Vermont. We stayed there for 2 nights, went to the Ben & Jerry's Factory tour, and visited a friend who was in school up there. Burlington was also very nice. Then, we went up to Bar Harbor, Maine. That was amazing! We stayed for 2 nights, ate a lot of lobster, and we went on a tour of Acadia Nat'l Park and took a ride up Cadillac Mountain. Oh and when I say a lot of lobster, I mean a LOT!!! I mean, a lobster bake dinner the night we arrived, followed by lobster rolls for lunch the next afternoon, followed by more lobster for dinner once again! Couldn't get enough of it! There's something really cool about eating them right off the dock! Well, after they steam them of course! ;) Then, we drove down to Newport, Rhode Island and stayed for 3 nights, touring the mansions and enjoying the harbor. More seafood! On the way from Maine to RI, we stopped in Boston for lunch at Cheers. It was an amazing trip! :thumbsup2

I've been following along with your TR and was so bummed when I saw your bandwidth problem. We leave a week from today on our cruise:cool1: and I was loving seeing all your photos and reading your great commentary. As I commented earlier we're 2 adults doing the Dream too and it's fun getting ideas and seeing what you all did (tequila tasting yes!)
Have fun on your New England trip!!

Leisha, please fix the pictures! I was having a blast reading your TR then got the rug pulled from under me with no pix! Then I decided to look at your previous TR and no pix there, either!

LOVE your reports and can't wait to view the pix!

Thank you for taking the time to write them!!! :)

There is nothing she can do but wait or shell out $'s to upgrade the photobucket account. With a free PB account there are limits to the number of viewings that pictures are allowed. The larger the picture file, the less it can be viewed before the limits are reached. Likewise when readers of the TR "quote" the author's pics that pushes the person closer to the bandwidth limits. The limits are for a certain time period, so eventually it gets reset and the pictures will be visible again. Because she has used these PB accounts for all her TRs, they are all affected.

Perhaps once she is back from the trip to New England the bandwidth will be reset and she can continue to keep us entertained. Until then we just need to be patient. :headache:

Okay, I'll be patient! In the meantime, I'm going to read YOUR trip reports

Thanks!

No idea when photos re set ..but I was hoping for an update and the pictures reappearing before we leave on our cruise tomorrow...it's such a good TR.

Do you know how long that usually takes?

You are given "X" amount of space each "Period" in which I think the period is a month. I believe it has something to do with the day that you signed up for PB. So if you created the account on the 25th of a month, every 25th your account resets. She has two accounts so it is very likely that part of the pictures will show up when the first one resets and the rest when the second one resets.

This seems to happen to her on every TR :sad2: so either the photos themselves are huge and taking up a lot of bandwidth, or there are TONS of people checking out the TR.

Thanks for the explanation!

I typically resize my photos (have a program that will all of them quickly), then they upload faster and take less 'space' on the server. Especially when you have a TR that is so popular, every time the pages loads it's pulling those photos.
