we have only been on the magic and the wonder..

DH and I are trying to choose between

Back 2 back sailings on the dream
(4 night & 3 night) saves $200
Same ports on both 3 and 4 night.
Would have to reboard 1/2 through cruise

Or a straight 7 nights on the fantasy.
(Not having to get off the ship and DH uses one less vacation day)
Down side is we have done this exact Itinerary on the magic in 2015 :crazy2:

Which would be better? Family size 2a 2c (5,10)

For our family this is easy, Dream b2b. We love (love) our time on Castaway Cay.

We also don't mind the change over day; late relaxing breakfast, internet/phone service while back at port, back on board before everyone else.

Just booked a B2B in May 2017. We like the 2 stops at castway cay also!!

I say 7 days on Fantasy. its not just a factor of you changing over halfway but a matter of the rush that you feel on shorter itineraries vs the week long. Plus thats a repeat of menus etc.

If I were you I would do the Fantasy. Apparently you aren't cruising for itinerary with the 3/4 day anyway. You haven't done the big ship yet!

Bump..
Would love a little more input.
Right now it's 2 for b2b and 2 for fantasy..

I have done the B2B's before and love them. The problem with the 3/4 day B2B is that everyone is running around with their tails cut off trying to get everything done. If there was a bigger discount for the B2B I would not hesitate at all. However, you are talking $200 difference and being on a different ship. Plus you have an experience of 7 days where everyone is slower paced, after the first couple of days anyway. plus you get 7 different shows and 7 different menus.

Hope this helps.

Also if you sail on the 7 day Fantasy you'll get the Animation Magic show in Animator's Palate
