Check Comfort Suites in Nassau. If you book a hotel room, you get "free" access to Atlantis. We're a family of 4 adults and it's cheaper than paying the price for a day pass. I used hotels.com and cashed in my one night free credit for $200 off so it ended up under $100/person!

Originally, I was going to surprise my dd with this cruise the day before we were to leave. But... she has had such a miserable week (strep, croup and flu type B), that I decide she needed a pick me up and I told her about the cruise today. She was so excited. We looked at everything together and when she saw the kids' clubs and the different activities, she told me she would see me at dinner!! It definitely perked her up.

My husband and I have decided that we're crazy! We are taking our Baby Girl on her first Disney cruise...she will be 7 months old. My in-laws will be joining us as well so we'll have two extra sets of hand to help out.

We live in the northeast and are expecting another snowstorm this weekend so this cruise can't get here soon enough!!

I am so glad I found this site! Now I am off to see if I can find a thread with tips on cruising with a baby........

Any other couples of a certain age on the cruise without kids? Always interested in meeting kindred sprits over a cocktail or two in Pink or the Meridian.

As a first time Disney Cruising Family - what do I need to sign up for prior to boarding? What fills up? I went online and did our check in, but I didn't see any kids activities to sign up for - what am I doing wrong? We have 2 families and Grandma going. THANK YOU FOR ANY ADVICE!

Just wanted to post the link to the FE exchange one more time!

We have decided as a group to set the limit at 15 families (I believe we are currently at 11) OR cut off at March 15th--whichever happens first!

Edited to add:

The FE Exchange is now CLOSED as we reached our group capacity of 15 staterooms. Hopefully, if anyone else wants to participate this gives everyone enough time to start a 2nd group!

Luggage tags arrived Friday. Fish Extenders are almost done and we started packing. So excited we can't stand it.

Anyone know if they will let you take a box on board? For the FE gifts, does if have to be open or can it be taped shut?

I brought a taped box on last year's cruise. It goes thru a metal detector, just like an airport. This was from Los Angeles. Not sure if policy varies by port.

Looks like no one else is signed on for this cruise yet, so I guess I'll start up this Cruise Meet! Who will be joining me on April 4th-7th 2013 on the Dream? I was hoping for a longer cruise, but this was the only one that fit within my son's Spring Break schedule. DS (age 9) and I will be in one cabin with my parents in the cabin next door. As my siggy states, we're leaving the twin toddlers with Daddy and going on vacation! (ps-don't feel bad for Daddy, he's a cruise hater and won't go with us!).

I tried to find more info on this today and didn't find much. What time does it start, does it cost, how do you sign up? I don't run either, but I like to walk. I could be persuaded to do this!
