After 3 times of cancellation of our DLRP trip - we try it once again at the end of this month! Keep my fingers crossed that none of our kids will be ill again

How do we obtain the Dream AP the best way? We arrive on Sunday afternoon. Then I thought - after checking in - we go to the gates, buy a one day pass for dear husband and myself (daughter is 4 years old) and then go to the AP office. Is this the right way? Do we have to tell them at the gates that we're buying an AP the same day? How long is the office open (same like park hours?).

Many thanks in advance,

Hey - that way is fine - simply buy a one day ticket at the front and tell them that you want to get an AP. I've seen it be that they take the full payment at the front or they simply take payment for the one day and you pay the rest in the AP Bureau.

I think you'd have to get a one day ticket for your daughter though, as she is over 3, and I'm not sure it would be refunded as her AP will be free when you buy an adult one. So you may have to buy the APs at the gate or go to Guest Relations. I've been pondering this as we'll be doing the same thing for our two children.

Another option is go to Guest Relations at the right-hand side as if you were heading to Disneyland Hotel entrance.
Purchase your temporary Dream AP's along with your free DD's Dream AP.
You then take this to the AP bureau (located just outside Discoveryland) and have them made up to permanent APs :)

This thread may be of interest as you could get one of your adult's APs with sponsorship discount. You unfortunately don't get discount on the other adult AP since it is being combined with the free child AP.

Im sure Ive read somewhere that if you buy a day ticket for a child then get a free AP the day ticket wont be refunded for the free one so you are better to buy it at the gate or guest relations
