I remember that some people were complaining about capacity of castaway cay with bigger ship. The idea was that the island was not ready to handle the number of the guests on Dream comparing to Magic/wonder.

Was it just misconception/personal impression?
Or was it improved?

From report's on here about Castaway Cay since the Dream has docked there, I have seen nothing but positive reviews apart from (Cabana availability, and Sea Lice at PP).
Every other review has said that DCL have handled the expansion of the island incredibly well and with the addition of Cookies Two etc it has been a great success!

Just did a B2B and our stops at CC didn't seem any different than when we were on the Magic or Wonder. No problems.

DH, DB, Dsil, and I went on a cruise the last weekend of June on a fully booked cruise, and Castaway Cay NEVER felt crowded at all! It was wonderful! :goodvibes

Sea lice at PP?? Where is PP??

Pelican Plunge, :)

The new platform with a water slide and water spouts!

Pelican Plunge
Swimming distance from shore is the new 2,400-square-foot floating platform—adorned with nautical flotsam and jetsam. At this water-play area and platform, which celebrates the island's native pelicans, take a ride on one of the 2 twisting water slides and end up in the refreshing lagoon. Or, get soaked by the giant "bucket dump" that delivers hundreds of gallons of water on eagerly awaiting bathers beneath.

Don't get me started about sea lice. My 8 year old DD had a rash for 2 weeks after the cruise. However, I am happy to report that CC did not seem crowded at all to me. The 2 days we spent there on our June 21 double dip were definitely the best of the cruise!

Is the sea lice always bad? Is it certain times during the year? thanks:goodvibes
