We're sailing on the Dream Feb. 25th for a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas. We usually do 7 day sailings, so we're hopefully curious...? Is there a lobster night on the 4 night sailings? My DH Loves his lobster, and is really hoping to have lobster night, while I'm hoping to have the maple glazed salmon that is usually served the same night. Granted, that's on the Magic, but a girl can hope, right? That's my favorite meal of all of them on every cruise I've been on. This is our first cruise on the larger ships, so I'm sure I'll find something else I love, and I did see that there are crab claws in Cabana's, which DH loves almost as much as lobster, but he's still hoping for lobster night. I'd really love to hear back from anyone who can tell me either way on this question. We haven't been able to get reservations for Palo, so we're out there...bummer.

The lobster is not served on short cruises. Iwe don’t like the short cruises so dcl could of change it since we been on a short cruisebut I highly doubt it.

Thanks for letting me know. DH will be sad. We're not fond of the short cruises either, but our DS and his family booked this cruise then invited us to cruise with them, and because we want to see them... we're willing to do the short cruise for that reason. Next cruise will be at least a week!!! But we get to see 4 of our grandkids this time, so it's worth it!!!

On our 4 night Bahamas cruise on the Dream, we are a party of 10, dining early because of 4 kids in the party. (not my choice). I'd like to request a table kind of away from the main area of noise if that's possible. Does anyone know if that can be done ahead of time, and who to ask? Also, does that have to be done by the first person who booked the reservation (my son)? We booked later, but had our reservations linked for dining.

You just call DCL and make the request. They will ensure your party is all linked and then note the request, which will not be a guarantee (the CM will say that) but they will do everything they can.

Thanks! I'm glad to hear it, and to be able to hear my family speak during dinner...lol!
On what night do they offer lobster on a 7 night cruise?
Last time we cruised on the Magic, which is when we had the lobster, it was always Thursday.

Is is it on the Captains Gala night? I prefer rock lobster over Maine so I am looking forward to it

If there is any particular restaurant in which this is important for you, I'd also mention that. Table locations don't always match up from one MDR to another, so table #5 might be a busy location at Enchanted Garden but is a quieter location at Royal Palace. So if there is a restaurant that you feel is particularly noisy/busy (that would be EG in my opinion), I'd mention it specifically.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten about that issue. I will mention it when I call.
