Are we too late? This is our first time on a cruise and are keeping the whole thing a surprise from the kids so I can't do any research while they're around. I didn't find out about the fish extenders until yesterday and finally found this board today!

Hi there - we are going to be on this cruise and our 14 year old daughter just this past Wednesday (8/3/2016) discovered the whole concept of Fish Extenders. I told her it was too late to join a FE group and that they are pretty involved. She said she really does not care about getting gifts and it is ok with her if we are not part of a group - she just really liked the idea of having something to hang by the door and enjoys doing these kind of crafty DIY projects. I posted a question on the Disney Cruise Line section of the Dis Boards about whether we can just hang up a FE without being part of a FE group and someone suggested getting in touch with the coordinator for our cruise and that participating in the Pixie Dusting group may be an option. Still seems pretty late to me since it looks like this list closed in June, but I just figured I would ask. In any event, in case anything can be done at this point, here is our info:
