I just booked this cruise as well due to the Castaway Cay Challenge!!! This will be my second cruise and my mother in law will be joining me. So excited to do the Castaway Cay 5K again and I can't wait for my first marathon. This seems like an awesome way to relax and celebrate

Signed up for this cruise. It will be Dh and me. We are staying in concierge. We are participating in Marathon Weekend. We are both doing the 5K. DH doing 10K and me my first full marathon.

More runners here! Husband (JCfromTB) and I are running our first full marathon and then ready to set sail! It will be our 5th DCL cruise. We've got some awesome friends joining us for the marathon & the cruise and we are so excited! We're from Tampa, FL and it will be us with our 7 year old daughter and 6 year old son.

Okay, so this is my husband and I's first Disney cruise!! I cannot begin to express how ECSTATIC we are about this!!! We have no children so it will just be us for an anniversary trip. However, I'm a kid at heart and a Disney fanatic and I'm really interested in this Fish Extender thing I keep reading about. How does it work? I was directed here to "sign up". HEEEELLLLP!! I wanna play!!! Haha.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated from all of you seasoned cruisers out there!!!

Welcome, Elbrandon! You will not be disappointed! We are hooked on Disney and I am over the moon that they are coming back to Texas next year!

So far it does not look like anyone has set up the FE stuff yet. Once it is set up you just sign up for it. I have participated in three exchanges and each was a little different but they all had "groups" that cut off at a certain number. You could just exchange with one group or you could sign up to be in all groups. Depending on the number of people doing the exchange the numbers can get pretty big. Have you started looking for your Fish Extender yet? That is your "stocking" that you hang on your door to get your loot! Also, it is never too early to start making magnets to decorate your door.

You will be mesmerized and amazed by your first Disney Cruise. What a great anniversary gift to each other!

Thanks for your response! I've been searching Etsy for the perfect fish extender and I think I've found one!! I can't wait to get it!! This just sounds like so much fun. I've always been a fan of the secret santa game so this is just super cool to me! Haha. It will also help in possibly meeting some other adults on the cruise. We took a Carnival cruise a few years ago and didn't know anyone. It would have been nice to know a couple people and meet up with them a couple times on the trip. Not to mention we were completely unprepared for that cruise! That's why I am getting all of our ducks in a row way in advance!!

Hello Everyone! This will be mine and my husbands first cruise ever! We changed to this one instead of the Jan 9th-12th in order for me to do the Castaway Cay Challenge. I am going to sign up for the 10k through a travel provider. I am a hooked runDisney fan! We are deff interested in doing the Fish Extender. Look forward to running with you all!

Also - as we get closer, if there's enough interest, I'd love to set up a private mixology class for our group. We've done it twice in the past and it was a BLAST! ($15 per person for the class and 5 'sample' drinks)

Good to be part of this cruise. We sucked friends of ours into running the 2015 Disney Marathon with us and were also successful in getting them in on the cruise!

As excited as I am for the cruise, there are hundreds of training miles between now and the the marathon!

Hi everyone! My husband and I are both running the Dopey at WDW Marathon Weekend. Once we saw the Castaway Cay Challenge, we knew we had get on the cruise! I booked our cruise last week, and we also splurged for Concierge. We sailed on Concierge on our last Fantasy cruise this past March and we LOVED it! This will be our first cruise without our kiddos! In addition to our cruise this last March, we were also on the maiden voyage of the Fantasy--that was an amazing experience! We ran our first RunDisney event last year at the Disneyland 1/2, and we are forever hooked! On the books for this year is: Disneyland Half (Dumbo Doubledare), Wine & Dine, Avengers, and then WDW Dopey in 2015. =)

Looking forward to seeing all the runners on this cruise! It is going to be pretty cool!
