Is the Dr. Suess world at Islands of Adventure worth making a trip over? This is the only part I am interested in seeing as my DD6 wouldn't get much out of the superhero place. We will not have a rental car and will need to cab it there and back not to mention tickets costs. What are you opinions?
TIA

P.S. Is the Nickelodeon stuidio free or part of one of the parks?

I'm not sure I would spend the money for JUST Suess Landing. If you and your daughter would enjoy some of the other attractions (there's far more than just Marvel Super-Hero Island), Islands of Adventure is a fantastic park.

Toon Lagoon has Bilge-Rat Barges, Me Ship the Olive, Ripsaw Falls; Jurassic Park has Camp Jurassic, Pteranodon Flyers, the Discovery Center; Lost Continent has The Flying Unicorn, Eighth Voyage of Sinbad, Poseidon's Fury and the Mystic Fountain. All of these are fun and appropriate for a 6 year old.

Nick Studios are free with admission to Universal Studios (not to be confused with Islands of Adventure.....they're separate admission, as Magic Kingdom and Epcot would be).

Thanks for the info, I think I will check into the Universal site I didn't realize IOA had other areas. Thanks again!

Suess landing is great and Nick studios is in the other park. If you did the best of both parks it would be a great day. Jimmy neutron and Shrek juat opened and both are wonderful.

I am a huge fan of Disney, but as far as rides, IMO, Islands of Adventures beats any Disney Park by far. But of course IOA can't touch the magic of Disney!!!!!

for just one day - no!

they are like disney - there one day park is only for that park - you would have to buy a 2-day park 2park passes to do both Dr Suess and Nickelon

there is other transpotation - Mears shuttle - lynx (this is a difficult choice - as you would have to change buses)

Just for Seuss Landing, I don't think it would be worth it. There are only 3 rides. One of them being a carousel. My son who is 5 LOVES this park. He just asked to go there for our next vacation. Last visit, we spent 4 easy days at both the parks. You might want to look into the rides more to see if she would like the other things IOA has to offer. For the price of their one day tickets, it is more of a value to get a multi-day ticket. They are much cheaper than Disney's.
