What on earth was he thinking? No one wants something like that in their neighborhood!

No kidding, happy for them that they were successful in shutting it down. If you're going to do that put it on a ranch or something where other people don't have to deal with it.

Its not even an original idea. There was a show called "Starting Over" where 5 women would come live together and get help for their problems.

Those poor residents on the street where the house is! I am surprised though, that Dr. Phil's money wasn't enough to get what he wanted.

I'm a big fan of Dr. Phil, but even he said on yesterday's show to the couple that was in the house, that neighbor's passing by on the street could hear the yelling... THEN, I shuttered realizing that this house was in a neighborhood!!! I can't imagine living next to this house... they should have known not to put this particular house in a residential neighborhood.... those poor neighbors!

With the money that Dr. Phil rakes in, I am surprised that he wasn't more proactive and offerred his neighbors X amount of dollars to put up with it. I would have been open to that if the price was right.

Can you just imagine living next to these people screaming & yelling at all hours of the day & I'm sure they're in the yard doing it at times as well KWIM? I'm sorry, but Dr. Phil would have to buy my house to keep me quiet if I were a neighbor... no way would I or could I put up with it & I'm a fan!

Yes, why didn't he head for the hills...I mean you know out in the country somewhere, where when the going gets tough, the residents in Dr. Phil's house can even go outside and scream and carry on....I am a fan as well...but from the first time I saw the AD's for the new season, I kept wondering if this house was INDEED in a neighborhood. Best put that on the market and head for the hills, Robin and Dr. Phil!!!!

I just read about this on another board. I would've been pretty annoyed too.
