Dr. Pepper?

I know WDW carries coke products, but do they have Dr. Pepper? Sometimes our local restaurants that carry Coke also have Dr. Pepper, so I was just wondering. Also wondering about at the resorts.

My wife is a DP addict, and goes through serious withdrawal when we're at WDW. We always have to bring a case with us from home.

Seriously, I've never seen it at WDW.

Nope, no Dr Pepper. In most cases, it's bottled (packaged) by Coke, but is not a Coke product.

The closest thing to Dr Pepper at WDW would be Pibb Xtra and is available at a few locations on property.

There, I've said it.

I would really love it if they had Dr. Pepper, but as someone said, I had seen Mr. Pibb (the one without the fancy advanced degree) on some of the beverage stations over the years. I'm not sure if the same places have it, or not. I could have sworn The Mara at AKL had it, but as I haven't stayed there for a few years, I don't know for sure.

At any rate, this Pepper commisserates with you.

I have seen Mr Pipp, Coke's answer to DP, there before but it's been years since I even drank soda so I can't vouch for it being there recently.

Best bet is to buy some when you arrive at the grocery store.

The fact that I must have a DP every morning (MY morning coffee) is the reason we rented a Tiffany Towncar from the airport. The driver stops at a local grocery store for supplies. Our main supply was the DP!

When I go to Vegas, we always stay at the same hotel and one of the main reasons is I can get Dr. Pepper in their gift shop.

Oh, and I live in Waco, Texas where Dr. Pepper was invented - just a little DP trivia for you there!

Ah, heck, don't let THAT determine your hotel choice! I've been able to find Dr Pepper - well, really, Diet Dr Pepper - pretty much everywhere I've looked. Of course, having a car, or being in a hotel near the south end of the Strip where there are a Walgreen's and a CVS about across the street from each other, helps

Last May we made an order from Garden Grocer -- a cheap styrofoam cooler (which we pixie-dusted to another family on our last day), 2 cases of bottled water, a case of Diet Dr. Pepper for me, a case of Coke for DH, and a few other sundry items. This year we'll be at POFQ and I understand they have a mini fridge in each room, so we shouldn't need a cooler...

kaytieeldr, looks like we'll be at WDW at the same time in September? If we run into each other, maybe we can drink a Diet Dr. Pepper Kungaloosh!

lucky you....we stopped in Dublin in 2004 on our way back from California
to go the the Dublin Dr Pepper bottling museum...we bought a couple cases of the glass bottled Dr Pepper to bring home... nothing as good as the real thing
