Dr. 90210

The episode I saw was this past weekend and Dr. Rey (or Reye?) went to Venezuela. He was looking for inner beauty as well as outer beauty. His wife is dealing with these little kids and he's posing for photos with former Miss Venezuelas. At the end of the episode he's sitting on the couch with his wife, showing her all of these photos. :sad2:

The girl with the nose job also had breast implants, as did her friend. I must be missing something because I thought the girls looked much better before they had their chests inflated to the size of the giant Macy's Day Parade balloons! :rolleyes1
I saw the previews for the Venezuela episode, but missed it. I'll have to catch the rerun. What a jerk! His wife is obviously not healthy and he showed her pictures of those girls?!

I really feel so happy for the guy who was in that car accident and got his face reconstructed. It broke my heart to see how he was, when he was in the band, and to see how he is now. I'm glad he has a great outlook on life, I don't know what I would do in his shoes. He finally got new teeth and was able to eat his steak and crabs, so heartwarming. His wife is absolutely great for sticking through this whole ordeal with him, because there are a lot of people who wouldn't. You can tell that their love is real, that HER love is real.

I honestly don't feel that badly for Hailey/Hayley.

I have a feeling that if Dr. Rey decided to work fewer hours (and bring home less $$$) she wouldn't be happy giving up any of her material luxuries, either. All she does is whine about being alone all day with the kids in their huge, huge mansion. She could get playdates for them, put them in activities, mothers morning out, whatever..... she just chooses not to.

And.... that date they went on. It was a cooking class! Not an intimate dinner. They need to be choosing different dates if they want time alone.

I see what you mean. It doesn't seem like she has many friends, but she's not going out to try to make any either. He's not telling her to stay in the house and be miserable, she just does it anyway. She needs to worry more about herself than about him.

Dr. Rey seriously creeps me out. There is no reason for a doctor to tell a patient she looks "sexy"; that is beyond inappropriate.

Yeah, that always weirded me out too. I haven't watched it recently, but I always flip flopped on my feelings for Hailey. Sometimes I felt bad for her, like she was constantly being dumped on, with the kids and everything, but then other times, I would think, this woman has it all, and yet, she seems to want more - you can't have your cake and eat it too.

But Dr. Rey is waaaaaayy too into himself. The whole karate in the middle of the street thing really sealed it for me. Who does that?? :confused3

Oh, and for kicks, while I was in Beverly Hills, I do admit to taking a walk past his office. I was about to enter into the world of plastic surgery myself at the time, and was a little obsessed. Now, I pay no attention. I have what I want, definitely NOT pro bono - and I don't watch the plastic surgery shows much anymore. ;)

Having only seen part of one episode I can't say for sure who it was, but one of the women (wives?) looked real bad and appeared to have had some sugeries gone wrong.

Not what I would call a good example for somebody trying to get others to buy his work. :happytv:

All I have to do is think about being POOR and having everything dumped on one person. Makes me not pitty her too much. At least she has the money to get away for a few days or go shopping for a $500 stroller.
