Dp?

Hello,
We recently purchased a resale! We are waiting to close and receive our membership info. We are going to Disney on Oct. 26 staying at AKV! We rented points from a member on here. We would like to purchase the DP. My question is if I wait and receive my # can I purchase the DP for my trip on rented points this Oct? If I can purchase the DP myself, I will not have to bother the owner. Thanks for the replies in advance!

You would have to contact the owner you rented from to add a dining plan. It must be paid for in full at the time it's added to the reservation.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I understand paying for the DP in full when added. I was hoping to add it to my reservation ( rented points ) Oct 26. I want to use my credit card as a method of payment. Just trying to not bother the owner I rented from but I may have to. We really like having the DP!

If you have a rented reservation you have to go through the owner to set up everything for that trip even if you are a member yourself. You have no control over a trip using someone else's points even when you are member.

Thanks for the reply. I thought that might be the answer. I will contact the person I rented from to get the ball rolling on purchasing the DP! Both owners have been wonderful to work with
