DP locations

The DP is one of those things we really really want to add. One of my fav things about WDW is their fireworks! However, the evil budget looms over our heads. This is in the group of things we are calling our personal 'wish list', from which we have to pick and choose.

Tell me, is it worth it?

I am willing to negotiate flowers for the extra wiggle room to make this happen.

All of your pics are amazing! Its pushing me over the edge!!!!

If you're willing to negotiate flowers for it, yes! In fact I cut out centerpieces entirely in order to keep my wedding to the Wishes minimum and still be able to have a dessert party. In 10 years, people will still be talking about the fireworks party at your wedding. No one is going to remember what the flowers looked like. :thumbsup2

I think you should definately cut floral for it. Everyone has flowers at their wedding but how many have fireworks? We are going light with floral as well. :thumbsup2

Hmmm... UK Upper does not have a roof... Nicola - is this where you sat?

That's UK Upper. There are seven tables there which can't be moved. If you look in JaxTeach's trip report, maybe her pictures show whether they can put tablecloths on those umbrella table. I was told the umbrellas can't be removed....

hmm doesnt look like where we sat... but we were outside on a terrace.

where are they hiding these upper and lower locations then as i didnt see either of them.

sorry for the misinformation then... i had never eaten at the UK before and i thought as they sat us outside that would have been one of the terraces... i really want to know where they are now then... if you know please tell me lol

I wonder if you sat here.... which is the patio and the opposite side of Rose & Crown from UK Upper and Lower...

Or maybe where the umbrellas and overhang/roof are in this pic...

It would be great if they did dessert parties in these spots, but I think they make more money on the day guests who eat at Rose & Crown specifically to watch IllumiNations! :cutie:

What do they do in the cases of inclement weather for the DP? We were in EPCOT during TS Fay this August, they only canceled 1 night... but they DID cancel. What's a bride to do?

And about how much does a DP cost? Say 50-60 ppl

Just wondering!

This is so awesome :) Hugs to the brides and the well wishers :grouphug:
