DP Credits- shared across group?

I was just wondering how the credits are applied to your Magic Band.

Does each person in the group have to be present to use their own individual credit, or can, for example, I pick up two snacks and use a shared pool of credits between me and my husband (as we're on the same reservation)?

All dining plan credits are pooled. So, if you wanted to order 2 snacks at one time, you could do that. If you wanted to use all of the snacks (and not let your DH pick anything ) you could do that.

This may be too much clarification, but someone might be curious...they are pooled by room/reservation.

Many people link magic bands across several groups, with several reservations, those not on YOUR reservation will not be able to access your meals, even though they can see you other plans. (fastpasses, etc)

The credits are pooled for your reservation as PP stated.

Snacks are all in one big pool that anyone in the group can use immediately in any quantity.

CS are also pooled, but you can only order so many meals at once. So if there are 2 adults, 1 child in your party...you can only order up to 2 adult CS and 1 child CS at a time (but your entire party doesn't have to be there for you to do it).

TS credits are pooled and specified adult/child; however, everyone in your party will probably only be able to redeem his or her own credit (you probably can't sit down by yourself and order two entrees, drinks, and desserts).

I'm assuming at places like Casey's that if you were to order 3 hot dog meals it would still be fine and not mess up the kids credits since there is no kids menu, is this correct?

When there's no kid's meal, kids can order off the regular menu so you'll be fine doing this.
