Dowtown Disney Fit2Run?

What is Fit2Run in downtown Disney? Is it just a shoe store?

It's a run shop that sells shoes and other items for runners.

From their website: "Get fit professionally at Fit2Run, The Runner's Superstore, for a wide range of name brand athletic walking and running footwear, technical running apparel and accessories like performance eyewear, tech socks and GPS wrist personal trainers."

My husband is very interested in this store because he has flat feet, he always has a hard time with shoes. So I was wondering if it's worth our while to check it out.

My husband's feet were sore after a few park days on our last trip, and he bought a pair of insoles that he loved and still wears all the time, a year later. They have a few different machines there that test your gait/weight distribution, etc to help you pick the perfect shoe or accessory.

My husband also bought some insoles a few days into our trip. The young salesman was personable and knowledgeable. We bought a few other things like hats and some running clothes.

Didn't notice too much of a markup vs other specialty running stores.. You could buy shoes cheaper elsewhere on sale/clearance but having them fitted to me was worth the extra few 'retail rack price' bucks and once I knew they were great bought my replacement ones from Amazon etc once they became 'last years model'

I'd suggest going to a running store back home. You can establish a relationship/history, and I think your husband would have a better long term outcome. I love local running stores. They take a lot of time and care. If something goes wrong with the shoe, they'll work to find a better one.
