Whats the best way to get there.This is my plan;

Breakfast Ohana (arrive by car from Pop)
Horse Riding at Horseworld (by car after breakfast)
Back to Pop,shower, hair washed, fresh clothes(leave car at Pop)
Downtown for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique,DD's get some pampering(by Disney Bus)
Fort Wilderness resort for Hoop-Dee-Doo.
Back to Pop.

I would like any ideas of how we can get from DTD to FWR

Then from FWR back to Pop
As you can see this will be one of our non park days.
Many thanks

:)

From DTD you take a bus to Ft. Wilderness. This will drop you off at the Outpost (front). You will then board an internal bus (any color is fine) which will take you to the Settlement where you will find Pioneer Hall/HDDR.

Afterward, pick up a boat to the MK at the marina (marina is near HDDR). There you can pick up a bus to your resort.

That's what I would do too, Sharon :)

I always love the boatride back to MK from Fort Wilderness too, if you haven't done it before, it is a pleasant trip with nice views of WL (look out for the Bear Face), Contemporary etc.

I'd agree with that, but make sure that you've got your bug spray on if you are going on the boat to MK. The boat dock area seems to be the breeding ground for all the bugs in WDW.

Thanks for your replys and tips very helpful as i expected :thumbsup2

How long does it take to get from DTD to Ft.Wilderness on the bus, then from the Outpost to Pioneer Hall,I want to make sure we leave enough time Thanks

I dont mind how long it takes to get back, the boat ride from Pioneer Hall to MK sound great, weve not done that before.

That's a tricky one Sharon, one of those how long is a piece of string questions, LOL.

I am making some assumptions here (as always ;) ) but say you wait 10 - 15 minutes for a bus to turn up at DTD and then it takes another 5 minutes to drive round DTD before it leaves, then I guess another 10 minutes to get to FW. Get off and wait for an internal bus - and then to get to Pioneer Hall - maybe another 25 mins at the most??

It is going to depend greatly on how lucky (or unlucky!) you are with the bus timing, but based on the above estimates I would say you are looking at 55 minutes or so. Personally I would leave an at least an hour before but I like to be early for things :teeth: Of course, if you are lucky and get there just as a bus arrives for each scenario, it will be less :)

Thanks Karen.I looked in my Unofficial Guide they have an approx guide from A-B it said if you catch the buses straight away it'll take 40min if we have to wait 60min max..so you were spot on really, your assumptions were correct :thumbsup2 You clever girl :goodvibes

LOL Sharon! If I had known I was up against such stiff competition I might have thought twice before answering :teeth:

I'm glad my guesses were okay :)
