Is there transportation from the Disney hotels to the City of Paris?

Thanks...

There's a direct train from the station just outside the Disney Village which will take you straight into the centre of Paris. You can then change easily onto the Paris Metro to get around the city.

Just what I wanted to hear! Thanks!

When is the best time to go..weather,,crowds etc? Without peak prices..of course..;)

I am planning on using DVC points...There could be as many as six of us which would require two rooms, correct? I have never been out of the US..Would love to spend a week in Paris, staying at the Newport..

I am already thinking of next years trip and am about to take this years..OCD!

I would say September is a good time to go, not too hot or cold, low crowds and not in peak season as all the kids should be back at school after the 1st week.

If you wanted to see the fireworks etc you would have to go in the Summer season, parks are open later and lots more entertainment but this is peak season so more expensive and very busy.

Hi LakeAriel and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

Cityrama have organised tours from the Hotel New York but if you want to spend your own time sight seeing in Paris the RER train is easily negotiated :)

I just read that if you book a stay at Disneyland Paris on DVC points you must purchase length of stay tickets for everyone in your party..What do they cost? It sounds like they will penalize you if you want to just stay at the resort to visit Paris..going to the theme park only a day or two...Anyone know why this is and what it cost PP?

Sorry for hijacking the thread. Just wondering if you have any more info on this? Do you have to book in advance? Can you just go into NYH and find out about it? Thanks

Make sure you allow some time to purchase your train tickets at the station. I was there on a Saturday at 11AM in July and waited in line for 1/2 hour to purchase a ticket from the agent.

There was also the option to purchase a ticket from a machine but I was having some issues with it.

You can buy the tickets the day before if theres less queue- that what we did last time. Dont make the mistake we did on another occasion though and get the tickets from the machine as we then realised they were only single tickets and not mobilis which is what we wanted - this meant we then had to buy metro tickets in Paris and a ticket to get back. Check out my trippie from Easter for 2 separate day visits to Paris
