Downtown Disney...

How late are all of the shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney open???? And how early do most places open? Does anywhere serve breakfast??? thanks for any info!

All the hours vary. Yes some places serve breakfast. Our favorite breakfast is beignets at Jazz Express (sorry Ralph Brennans Creole Cafe) . La Brea Bakery is also open for breakfast-at least the Express is. During high season the restaurant and stores are open later. Some restaurants/clubs stay open after midnight.

RFC does breakfast. La Brea Bakery and the above mentioned beignets from Jazz Kitchen Express are all available as well. Oh yes, there is also a book store at the end of DTD that has a coffee shop inside. Compass Books.

You can check the dining section but I know the Rainforest serves breakfast. Closing varies depending on the store or restaurant and general park hours and if it is a weekend. Sometimes the bars are open until 1 am and Rainforest until 11 pm or midnight for example.

A friend and I recently had breakfast at Catal in Downtown Disney. It was good but the hollondaise sauce was a little sour. I would like to try their buttermilk pancakes next time. The description makes them sound yummy!

I know I can not go back as long as my mother is alive as I cannot have her travel and cannot get a baby sitter, last trip to San Antonio was not good for her and the friends I dumped on her.

I have DLR and that is enough for me for now. In 20 years I will be old and free and who knows. Do not worry hun as I want to go back but cannot because I love my mother too much to put her away again.

I did not knw until I did research that Catal had breakfast. That will be my next project lol.

One thing that I found it the only place open for breakfast before 8am was RFC. Jamba Juice wasn't even open early. We had a 7am Early Entry and would have liked having Jamba Juice early.
