Downtown Disney

Do you need park passes to go to Downtown Disney? We will be arriving late on our first day and I would like to go there to get some of the souvenirs out of the way and at least be able to do something. I dont want to waste a day on our tickets to only be able to be in a park for a few hours.

Nope.that is Disney's shopping district. You do need a seperate ticket to get into Pleasure Island...i'm not sure of the exact total for that and it's only for the night clubs. During the day, you can walk throught that area for free though.

Depending on how late "arriving late" is, I think DTD shops close at 11pm.

We will be going for the fourth time in Feb 2007 (I can't wait to say we will be going for the 50th time ha!). We land at about 4:00 pm--we always take the same flight. Since we don't want to waste one of our days at a park we go to DTD. We eat at Capn Jacks and walk around. Than we go back to the POR and unpack. It is so much nicer and quicker with ME. It sure saves time and we get to DTD faster. ENJOY!
