Downtown Disney survey

I've been sent a survey from Disney Parks twice in the last week. Both really focused on Downtown Disney. Anyone else get this? It may be that Disneyland is ready to revamp this area. I don't visit it enough to have many thoughts on it. I guess that means they could add some stuff to get me there more.

I got one today. When I was a few questions in it asked me when was the last time I was at the parks. When I picked the "over a year" response it thanked me for my time and said "survey complete". It was the shortest survey I've ever done for Disney!

GatorChris --

What kinds of questions were asked? I'm very curious!

I think you're right -- Disney is probably planning to do something with DTD in the next year (or two), because their surveys are usually geared towards very specific topics, i.e., Viva Navidad, Halloween Time offerings (or lack thereof) in DCA, onsite hotel packages and what they might include, dining, etc., as though they want to know if the public enjoys these particular things and how they can improve them, if at all.

One of the people who posted in my Halloween Time Superthread said that after she returned from her Halloween trip she received a survey that was mainly about the Halloween theming/offerings, specifically with a slant towards DCA. So I fully expect that, within a year or two, Halloween Time will finally reappear in DCA to some degree -- because I cannot see how anyone who took that survey would have said that they were happy with the lack of Halloween in DCA!

Downtown Disney could certainly stand to be pepped up more for the holidays, though the Winter Village and Olaf's Frozen Ice Rink are a big improvement. They could do so much more with that whole DTD strip, though.

I did one of these a week or two ago. It was asking about yor patterns with visiting Downtown Disney. Did you only visit on trips to Disneyland. If you were form the area did you visit without going to the parks. Then it got into brands you may or may not like or associate with Disney and Downtown Disney. They had a slew of brands that you dragged into an area which designated your feeling about if it was a good brand for Disney to associate with and would Disney brand look good on some of the other companies product.

Interesting! I've noticed if we stay offsite, we don't venture into DTD at all. It's frustrating to go through the bag check to get in, then have to go back through it again to leave....I know, lame excuse. LOL. And then if you buy something they have to look in the bags.
