During our visit next week we are planning one evening when we will go to Downtown Disney to see the new Pirates movie. popcorn:: I would appreciate some suggestions for dining while we are there. We don't usually eat there so we are not too familiar with most of the restaurants.

The only places I've eaten down there are Raglan Road, Earl of Sandwich, and Planet Hollywood.

We didn't care a bit for Planet Hollywood, but when my kids were pre-teens they liked it a lot.

I enjoyed Raglan Road and like the Earl of Sandwich a lot. It's great for a sandwich place and if you go at off-times there aren't long lines.

We tried Wolfgang Pucks Cafe for the first time last year and really enjoyed it a lot. We are going back on our next trip. I know I am in the minority on this one but we have also enjoyed a few meals at Planet Hollywood. ;)

If you are looking for counter service the Earl Of Sandwich is very good too.

Rainforest Cafe - Just make reservations befor you leave home.

Since the movie theater is on the Westside, you could eat at Wolfgang Pucks, or my personal favorite, House of Blues. Both are very good and in the same area as the movie theater.

If you're looking to splurge a bit, I highly recommend Fulton's Crab House. I just dined there last week and it was easily in the top 2 meals of my entire trip. I read some negative reviews of the place before I left and almost cancelled my ADR, but I am so glad I didn't! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The only thing to note is that Fulton's doesn't accept the regular DDP - they only accept the Platinum and Premium packages. Obviously you can pay OOP, but just something to consider because you didn't mention whether you were on DDP.

I'd say another vote for HOB.
RR would be the second choice, with WPC third.

House of Blues is awesome and WPE is great...tons of food and reasonable prices.

Thanks for the ideas. Maybe We'll lean toward House of Blues due to location and variety. Plus I'm sure the atmosphere and Music will be well worth it.
