Downtown Disney rumour

As a lover of Saratoga springs especially congress park I'm not that keen on the idea. On our last trip we could hear the music from inside our villa till 1-2am. Luckily we were so tired every night it didn't bother us but I think of it were to be that bit closer it would.

getting rid of Planet Hollywood? ....I dont see that happening, though Im not a fan myself on the place

Wasn't there recently a management shake up and the guy who'd been in charge of Disney Cruise Line became in charge of DTD? Could explain rumours of this revamp.

Then again remember when Hyperion Wharf (?) was meant to be coming then talk of it just fizzled out :)

Yes, they talked about it on the podcast, and were surprised he went from Cruise Lines to DTD. But they obviously have big plans for the place, and want a good manager to see this through. One of the things I enjoyed most my last trip to WDW was the Adventurer's Club. Such a shame what they have done to the place since then.

I forgot about that. Didn't know about the management change though. I think something fresh may not be a bad thing. We are big fans of DTD, but they never did anything with the old Pleasure Island and it could do with something new. I love it as it is now, but a bit of change is not a bad thing

This sounds fantastic! And glad they're adding a new multi-storey parking lot. We always find it a nightmare to find a space.
