What time do the shops open at DD? Can you get a bus from DD to the MGM or does it take you to the TTC where you have to get a bus? We're planning on heading over to DD on Saturday after breakfast. Then going to MGM for the 4.30pm parade, then we want to hop to the MK for dinner and maybe Spectro and Wishes.

Too much? My DS3 really wants to see the parade at MGM but we don't want to stay at MGM too long. Any thoughts?

Actually, you may want to consider making a day of it at MGM. Contrary to popular belief MGM has plenty for the younger guests to do, especially little girls (because of plays focused on Princesses) But your son will almost certainly enjoy the muppets 3-D show, and fantasmic. Also you may want to pick up shows schedule because the Army Men from Toy Story do an interactive show near the giant Sorcerer Mickey hat that kids of all ages and both genders tend to enjoy. Plus depending on the child, Indiana Jones might be a really entertaining show.
On the subject of transportation I know for a fact that you cannot get direct bus to the Magic Kingdom from DD(we thought we could and almost missed Spectromagic). I don't know about MGM. I'm almost sure however that you can take a series of boats which could be exciting and different from the normal everyday bus or monorail routine. (By the way I recommend taking the monorail and requesting to sit with the captain). Unfortunately I haven't a clue about DD shop hours. I know that we went around 10:30am once but that was in March.

Hope you get the information you need and enjoy your trip thoroughly. :earsgirl: :earsboy: ::MickeyMo :bounce: :earboy2: :earseek:

Meant to say this the first time:

When we first went our families youngest was three and we spent two whole days at MGM. Its still his favorite park.

We stayed near DTD and one thing we learned the hard way is that none of the parks have a direct bus to DTD. We had to take one to any resort and wait for the DTD bus there. The shops there open at 9:30 on the Market Side, not sure about the other side. The MGM parade was the one thing that we wanted to see and weren't able to because of rain. :guilty: If I had it to do again, I wouldn't spend much time there with small children--not enough for them to do. Your schedule that day sounds hectic, but much like one of our days and it was doable, but tiring. ;) The crowds are very small right now, so you should be able to do this much traveling without too much of a headache. :wizard:
